I went to the showroom in Vista. Great showroom, lots of samples. Sales people are knowledgeable. I want low maintenance, not slippery and something that will be comfortable for my dogs. That ruled out carpet, and stone and ceramic tile. The store manager suggested luxury vinyl plank (VLP). It is a great product and it is what I will be using.
I had a hard time finding a suitable flooring company in north San Diego county, and there were very many listings even between Angie's list and Yelp. But this company stood out for me. So I visited the showroom the week before Memorial Day. Memorial Day came early this year. So when the person did not show up for the first appointment the weekend after Memorial Day, I just assumed it was me, ad I was confused. But then we set up another firmer appointment for the following Saturday June 6, he was again a no show. And I have never heard back from them, so I don't think they really needed my business. In fact my impression is that they really prefer to do business under bigger contracts, such as for apartment buildings, or office buildings.
