Pacific Builders of SLO Inc
About us
In 1982, Dave Bolduan, a licensed general contractor, formed Pacific Construction. Starting with just one employee, he began remodeling and building custom homes. Over time, the company’s reputation for quality, integrity and fair practices drew clients, many of whom became repeat customers. In 2004, the company incorporated and the business name was changed to Pacific Builders of SLO, Inc. We rely on a network of subcontractors that we know and trust. We have developed a good working relationship with them over time by treating them fairly and making sure that they are paid in a timely manner. Pacific Builders of SLO also maintains a crew of well trained and courteous employees who are competent in all phases of construction and have the knowledge and experience to resolve difficult design challenges. Our company is committed to minimizing our impact on the environment. We maintain recycling programs in both the office and the field. Care is always taken to keep construction debris and run-off from reaching any creeks or city drainage. Whenever feasible, we utilize sustainable or environmentally sound building practices. We work closely with our employees and subcontractors to keep our job site clean and safe. During the many years that we have been building, we have never had a serious injury. The safety of home owners, subcontractors, and employees is a point on which we never compromise.

The plumber had no helper and ask me to help him lift the 60 lb sink with him. He did not help when ordering the parts needed to replace the sink and it is still not at the standard it was when he started work. The counter tops were refinished at this time, my counters are stone, he worked until late at night with little light and left one stone table in worst condition than when he started. His cost of his work is not included in the $10,000.00 but I knew that to begin with. But that these men used time and materials to get the price up is inexcusable. I had another estimate from another contractor that was for more than the $4,000.00 but I thought he was just trying to inflate that price. Pacific Home Builders had been highly recommended to me and I took them because of this recommendation and because I thought the price was fair. I trusted them because of this recommendation and let them set their own time and terms. I had no idea they would use the cost and materials clause to really take advantage of me, in the end they laughed at me and said their work was worth the extra cost.
The above date of the service is an estimate. I don't have the exact date at had right now. But it was in 2012.
