Drain Doctors Plumbing

Drain Doctors were hired to replace a faucet in January. The facet's diverter popped out of the faucet when I tried to take a shower in March, not even 2 months later. Called drain doctors to come fix their faulty faucet, they came fixed it and left. Said absolutely nothing to us about any issues. A few day later our property manager gets a bill where they attempted to blame us (the tenants) for their diverter falling out and charged our property management $175 for the fix. I feel thoroughly wronged and scammed by this company, their plumber, and their management. San Luis Obispo is known for having businesses who like to take advantage of tenants who don't know better. This company is one of those. If you would like to get faulty equipment installed, then blamed and charged for replacing it, then call Drain Doctors!

This was the second plumber because Melton Wann plumbing said he didn't have the right equipment to do the job.  The young man  from Drain Doctors  tried to snake the drain open with a larger snake but he said he couldn't finish the job because he thought the drain had collapsed and needed to be replaced.  He said this would cost at least $5000 and probably more.  However subsequently I had a trusted handyman I've used before come to investigate by actually digging down to the drain.  He dug down to where the young man from Drain Doctors said he could not go past.  However by digging down the handyman found that the young man frm Drain Doctors was completely wrong and the drain had not collapsed at all.  A joint had separated and his snake apparently was going between the separated spaces.  The handyman bought some replacement parts and charged less than $700.  It was in a very narrow space under a deck on a side of a hill.
