rented equipment to remove epoxy, took forever because equipment brokedown
said he treated cracks but later found out he did not do so
waterproofing failed
I held back half the payment and he sued me
went to small claims court, judge awarded me the first half so now Bill Leys owes me almost $4000.  He won't return my calls

Work was done as explained and all were satisfactory.  Would have been helpful to seal up a best area when shot blasting, as everything in closet became thick with dust.

Job started as scheduled. Tear-out showed a fair amount of rusted flashing so we decided to replace all flashing at an increased cost beyond the bid price as we wanted to do the job right the first time and also ensure the longevity of the new deck. This added about a week to the job, but the project stayed on schedule largely because the crew(s) doing the job worked diligentlly "to get the job done" which included working some weekend days. Employees were pleasant and knew their stuff. Owner Bill Leys was easy to work with, honest, reliable, cooperative. This was not an inexpensive project but we ended up with a guaranteed fire-resistant deck that would, we were told, last 25 to 30 years with reasonable maintenance.

The whole process took over a week because one coating has to dry before another can be applied.  The process included shotblasting, primer coat, epoxy coat and finally clearcoat.  Overall I am satisfied with the results
