Without barely a greeting to any of us, she started trashing French Hospital's birthing room, the decor, the lighting, the flooring, all with her back to my daughter, but certainly loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, and perhaps even out in the hallway. It was the last thing my daughter wanted to listen to after pushing for over two hours, and was not done as a means of distraction, but with total patient disregard and lack of professionalism. She never once looked at any of us in the eyes; she never once said my daughter's name or her husband's name. She was completely detached and gave the impression assisting in a birth was the last thing she wanted to do.
I felt her bashing of French Hospital was politically motivated. We all felt the birthing room was very spacious, clean, comfortable, and the staff absolutely AMAZING! 
When Dr. Storrer came in the following day for her rounds, again, she never called our daughter by her name. In fact, she was in the room all of 15 seconds. She asked one question, did NO exam of the stitches she had put in or anything else.
Dr. Storrer obviously chose the wrong profession.
Having been in this county for 33 years, I am so pleased that our county has grown to the point where we have amazingly talented doctors here on the Central Coast, doctors who care AND are skilled at what they do. Do your homework and don't settle!
