We were alarmed at the report and called the local utility company to inspect the unit and give us a second opinion. The utility company examined the unit the same day and found no evidence of any damage, confirmed that there was NO carbon monoxide leakage with a meter, and that the unit was working normally. The property manager paid the service call without our knowledge. In response to our complaint the property manager spoke to the company and complained about the charge, but the company refused to reimburse any part of the service fee.

The work we had done by this company was lousy. The furnace they installed 7 years ago started having problems and they charged us $1,000 for all the repairs. A furnace should really last about 20 years so that was disappointing. 7 months earlier they had given me a quote on the work but I decided not to use them because I satisfied with their potential solutions. 2 months later I still couldn't find someone to fix it so I had to go back to them and they charged me $200 more than the estimate. It was a bad experience all around.

The technician confirmed that the ducts were fine except for a small section of duct that was partially dented. The technician also claimed a crack in the condenser and potential carbon monoxide leak. He made the comment that the furnace should be "condemned." They provided an estimate to replace the heating system in the amount of $2,975.00. An emergency inspection by the utility company PG & E that same day contradicted the technician's claims. The PG & E technician reported that everything was working normally and there were NO carbon monoxide leaks. There was no evidence of any cracks in the condenser.

THE TECH THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL ABOUT THE HEATER. HE CHECKED TO BE SURE NO HEATER VENTS WERE BLOCKED AND WAS VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY.

SUPERIOR DID A GREAT JOB. THEY WERE VERY TIMELY AND DID MORE THEN I EXPECTED TO HAVE DONE FOR THE PRICE. MR. LEWIS WAS VERY POLITE, NEAT AND HELPFUL. HE GAVE ME INFORMATION TO HELP KEEP MY UNIT RUNNING AND IN GOOD SHAPE FOR A LONG TIME TO COME. HE DID NOT LEAVE ANY MESS BEHIND FOR ME TO CLEAN UP.
