Marcellus and Gerald are excellent. I have my garage doors serviced quite often since they are pretty old and every time that Marcellus is the technician the problem is solved so quickly and lasts for a very long time. He’s even corrected other technician’s work on many occasions. Marcellus and Gerald make a great team. Always polite and they communicate every thing to me so that I can understand with our making me feel dumb lol.

These guys are total professionals--prompt, responsive, helpful, friendly, and hyper-competent. I bought three remote controls from their store in San Leandro, and Lily showed me how to set them up. I had problems getting one of the doors to close, called them up, and that day Doug came by our house and solved the problem in 5 minutes. My experience with them could not have been better. A+++

In reviewing the proposal, the owner cooperatively worked with me to fine tune the scope and selection of the opener model. They were punctual for both appointments, the proposal and the installation. There was an error made by the estimator regarding the size of the springs, but this did not cause a delay in the installation; the correct size was quickly fabricated and delivered to the jobsite as to avoid any delay to the completion of the work!

Hector did a great job in a minimum of time and instructed me on the new features.

Ordered a new model garage opener (replacing my old one which was 25 years old) which they installed two days later.  Through no fault of the installer, he installed the wrong model.  Before he left my home, the office called him, letting him know that they had given him the wrong model.  He was apologetic, went back to the office to get the right opener, came back and installed it quickly.  He was professional and handled the issue very well.  He went over and above, installing new control wire, replacing existing wire, simply because my existing wire was old.  Then, he lubricated the garage door rollers, even though they had not installed my new garage doors.  Outstanding service!

We had R&S come out to assess our old flip-top garage door as part of their tune-up offer.  They advised that we ought to replace the operator and explained all the benefits so we readily agreed.  They applied the cost of the tune-up toward the installation and did a great job - very professional.  At some point when we're ready to upgrade to a new roller model, we plan to call R&S.

It went very well. They did excellent work. The staff was excellent. They have very good selection as far as different doors and styles and all that. Also, they have a good showroom. It is in San Leandro where you can actually go and see the different styles of doors so that helps to see what they actually look like than just looking at a catalog. Their price was competitive. I had 3 estimates and I picked them. I don't recall whether they were necessarily the lowest of the 3 estimates, but they were good in terms of giving me a good price and being responsive. Some people may give me estimates but it's like 3 weeks after they come to my house. It's a little sketchy when they do that. The estimate was prompt, it was reasonable, and the people I talked with about the estimate seemed quite knowledgeable. I think they did an excellent job in the installation and I like the finished product. I think they were very good all the way around.

Originally I thought I needed a new garage door.  The garage door was circa 1988,  all wood and extremely heavy. I was replacing the springs every two years,  When R&S came out they said I didn't need a new door, but that the springs needed to be a stronger high output spring.  They ordered and had the spring installed in a few days.  In addition they adjusted the garage door opener to accommodate the heavier spring.  R&S could have sold me a new door at a significantly higher price than the springs but realized the door wasn't the issue.

R&S did a great job.  They were very responsive when I called for an estimate and again when we scheduled the work.  The representative arrived on time, reviewed the work to be done and did an excellent job, he finished within the time they indicated it would take.  Doug followed up to ensure I was pleased with the work.  I was very pleased.

Sebastian did the estimate in December and the job today. He
is excellent in every aspect. I highly recommend him and R and 
S Door.

I'm so pleased! Scott, who did the installation was EXCELLENT and clean. He picked up after himself and was very hard working. I'd hire them again.
