I found this company to be professional and courteous from the beginning to the end of the process. Matt arrived on time for the initial inspection. He sent the estimate when he said he would and scheduled us as soon as he got the signed contract. They began the work on the day they said they would, showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves every day. The crew was courteous and conscientious. They did a wonderful job and the fence looks great. We were very happy with the job and felt that the cost was competitive. We would recommend this company without hesitation.

We had a very good experience with JB Fence. Matt was very communicative and professional. He and his crew showed up on time, completed the job on time, and cleaned up. We very much like the fence and would definitely use them again.

the fence was installed about a year ago but they were timely and reliable about fixing the gate . The original fence fell in a storm and it was a big issue as I have dogs and they need to be able to go out but not get out of the yard. They came in a matter of days and had the new fence up. They cleaned up well were punctual and the cost was exactly as estimated

Overall a good experience - one exception was after the initial meeting/estimate, I couldn't get back in touch with the sales estimator despite leaving multiple messages when we wanted to make some adjustments to the height of the fence. This delayed the install by about 2 weeks which was frustrating. However, once we got over this hump the rest went smoothly. The install team showed up on time and did an excellent job - in and out in less than 8 hours and took away some extra wood trash we had on-site. The fence is very attractive and appears sturdy. I would use them again.

The service went really well. The estimator was on time and communicated fairly clearly in regards to the price. They did the work as scheduled and the work was reasonable quality, not the greatest but it was okay.

We are extremely happy with the service and the new fence. It looks awesome and exceeded our expectations. Within a week of first contact, we had a fair estimate. Within two weeks, a signed contract. And the job was completed about a month after initial contact. Everything went as Matt estimated. The guys showed up and finished exactly when they said they would. The quality of their work was excellent and they did a good cleanup job as well. They even made a few good decisions/recommendations on the fly that saved us from having to incur extra costs (e.g. redo a retaining wall). Their work has not just replaced an old fence, but added value and beauty to our home. We would definitely recommend them for any fencing jobs.

The project went very well. They started on the East fence, tore it out and had the new posts in and the bottom boards in place by the end of the first day. The second day they started on the West fence. By the third day all the new fence boards were in place. On the fourth day they built a gate and cleaned everything up very nicely. They even cleaned up trash left from another contractor at no extra charge.

Job went very well, crew was nice and job completed in a timely manner.

I called 4 companies to get estimates to replace approximately 90 ft of fence in my back yard between our house and the neighbor. 3 of the estimates were from Angie's List contractors. Out of those 3, only Matt from JB Fence showed up on time for the estimate, and produced a thorough written estimate of the job. One other contractor didn't bother showing up for the appointment, while the other was an hour late and then emailed me an estimate with only a price, no specifics. JB Fence offered to send separate contracts to us and our neighbor splitting the cost and Matt was very helpful when we wanted to make a few changes in height and design. They promised to be finished in 2 days. They showed up on time, completed the job in the time specified, cleaned up beautifully. We and our neighbors were both extremely happy with the final result. Their price wasn't the lowest or highest, but was definitely competitive and fair for the professionalism they showed.

The installation started as scheduled. But it took more time time than anticipated as it was during the Holiday Season and parts were unavailable. We are very pleased with the completed fences.

Great experience. John Beckwith, the owner, came over and did the measurements and provided the estimate. He offered various material options, and was patient with us as we figured out what we wanted.

His team was fast and extremely professional. We couldn't believe how well it went and just what a wonderful deck we ended up with.

He did warn us that they did not offer staining or painting services, and the new deck did have to be stained. But he recommended a few contractors to do that work.

Its almost 4 years now and we are still thrilled with the deck.

I'd never had work done on a fence before, and was unsure of how to work with the neighbors, etc. JB Fence helped make this a smooth process, meeting with each of us and drawing up separate contracts that split the cost of the shared section and billed us respectively for non-shared sections. Work was completed in 1 day, workers were professional and left everything in good order. I hadn't realized that I'd need to apply protectant to the wood myself, as was indicated in the "care and maintenance" recommendations that came with the invoice, but as I said, I'd never had a fence built before so I am guessing this is standard.

We called two companies from Angie's list for quotes. JB Fence was competitive by a significant margin and the estimator, Matt, was more prompt and responsive than the other company. Our home is built into a steep grade hill and access to our property is challenging. There were no issues for them. They started and finished on time. The area was kept clean. The work was done well. When they finished, we realized that despite the fact that they did what we asked them to do, it did not look like what we expected aesthetically once we saw the finished results. We asked them to lower a box around a tree and add in a little more of the retaining wall behind a tree. They did that at an extremely fair price. Two things impressed me: 1) they reused as much of the wood during the adjustments as they could and 2) they asked the same crew to stop by after another job to ensure that the team with knowledge of our project were the ones making the adjustments. When you ask for a variance is when you truly find out how much integrity a company has. I plan to use JB Fence again in the future for additional retaining walls and fencing without hesistation.

We scheduled an appointment w/ Matt from J B Fencing, he arrived on time, had a quote to us by the end of the day. Fence was up / finished 3 days later. We are very pleased with the work, and will definitely be using J and B again.

Much better construction than old deck. Really did a beautiful job at a fair price. Workers friendly, professional and very experienced. We weren't happy with the railings they showed us so we found some photos on the internet. Emailed links to John and he adjusted his quote to accommodate what we wanted. In the end we love the railing and John now has something new he can offer. JB markets themselves as a fence company as that has been their main business. But they have one crew doing decks now and we highly recommend them. They also have their own lumber mill and sell materials to other contractors.
