My rating reflects the mixed experience I had with EPIC Roofing & Exterior Upgrades. Last July, we engaged them to address a roof leakage issue. They proposed a roof replacement for a 2100 sqft area, costing $30K. As busy professionals, we trusted their expertise and promptly paid the full amount. However, this year, we noticed a leak and sought their assistance. Seeking their customer service was not easy initially until I filed couple negative review. They did follow up and explain the issue and provide an acceptable remedy action. I would like to adjust this review and eliminate the unhappy experience that I described previously.

They have people on their Facebook and other websites posting fake reviews. If you look under the people that posted, they live in different countries and states like New York, New York, They had me remove my honest review for 4 day pretending they were going to fix the issue, only to block me from being able to write a review. The owner OMRI even has his girlfriend pretend to be a customer. This is my disastrous encounter with EPIC HOME UPGRADES If it is not in the contract, do not believe their friend words!! it is written that way for a reason, they expect you not to read it. I had my ac installed on February 2nd, I signed a contract for a 4 ton ac and heating system. The owner Oz came and inspected my house and stated everything would fit. He walked out where we would place the AC and where we would place the furnace. After Epic home upgrades removed my old furnace the owner called me to tell me the 4 ton furnace would not fit in the space where my old furnace was. He stated he was going to now install a 3 Ton furnace and a 3 ton ac instead of a 4 ton for my 1800 sq foot house. He offered a small discount for the inconvenience and told me I would not know the difference. After installing my ac will not reach my desired degree and the ac does not turn off because it wont reach the temperature which I didn't find out until later when it was summer. 2nd issue. I had windows installed and a sliding door. After removing my old windows and installing new ones in my 4 year old's sons room, they tell me the window will not lock and its broken manufacture issue. My son could not sleep in his room and my house was not secured until they came to fix it a week later. Then the sliding door was the wrong one so they had to come back a week later, after I told him my son is autistic and can't deal with the loud noise so I had to get a hotel each time he worked at the house. The day he installed the sliding door, he stated it would take 1-2 hours and it ended up taking 8 hours. The biggest one of all, After having solar installed, they delayed my PTO paperwork to get my solar working, and did not give me any information on my system. They didn't tell me how to operate it or what to do. They didn't tell me about the app to check my system (solar edge) 56,000 dollars later I keep getting regular 300+ electric bills only for Edison to tell me OZ Pesach from epic home upgrades installed the wrong system size given my usage history. I told OZ and he looked into it and told me he actually did install the wrong size and he apologizes now my bill is 650 with Solar and my Edison bill.

We did our backyard artificial turf and windows with epic home upgrades and had a great experience with the team. First meeting was good and after few weeks we decided to go with them for a new roof and solar system. We really liked that there was no pressure and they did everything that was promised.

Great service, had Oz in my house and helped me with the pace program, we are now net zero on our energy bills because of the solar system we installed with epic and also got new windows for less than what we used to pay for our electricity! Totally recommended

Oz with epic helped us with our insulation and hvac project, we are very pleased with the results and also got the LADWP rebate which saved us almost a $1,000!

We had the roof replaced with a new patio and solar. The results are amazing and Iâ m very happy I hired Epic for the work. Getting estimates was overwhelming for me as a new homeowner but once they came and explained the process, they made me feel so much better. They were able to offer me a great payment plan and I basically converted my energy bills to pay for the project. Iâ m very grateful they made the process so seamless. We are already talking about our back yard needs. Thanks again guys!
