When it comes to tuning pianos, I'm not easy to please. Perhaps the biggest obstacle is perfect pitch, which for me transforms poor tunings to the equivalent of fingernails on a blackboard. Thank goodness I found Denzil, and I hope he never retires! He has been tuning my pianos for decades - since not too long after I moved out and bought a piano before buying a bed. Tried several other highly-recommended tuners, including some recommended on this site, and none were as good as Denzil. His work is impeccable. He is imminently trustworthy - totally trust giving him a key to let himself in and lock up when he leaves. His prices are very reasonable - particularly considering the quality of his work. About a half decade after purchasing the first piano, he made me aware of a special warranty offer to upgrade the action that I would have never known about without his advice. We have multiple pianos, and sometimes he'll note that one has not been played enough lately to require tuning. He provides reminders for those of us that are often doing more than our available time allows. He's very personable, without being the least bit intrusive. And when we were looking for a additional piano, provided great leads. I could not more highly recommend him. You'll never regret choosing Denzil - he's great!
