Stucco work was okay, with some sloppy but acceptable seams and edges. His workers damaged some landscaping. Damian himself hardly did any work, as he has to run around supervising and estimating other jobs. His workers were fast and careless. In return, his bid was low, although I had to go to the bank to get him green cash. His promise of matching the existing texture was also too optimistic, as the seam between new and existing is still quite visible after painting.

In preparation, they asked us to clear the room of all furniture. The crew arrived on time. Inside the house they put tarps down on the floors where they would be working, laid a waterproof protective pathway from the outside door to their work area, and covered all the doors and windows in the work areas. Since we were going to paint the walls, we told them not to worry about that (but they cleaned up the few splatters, anyway). Outside, where they mixed the plaster, they also put protection on the ground. They set up their scaffolds without damaging anything, removed debris as they worked, and explained what they were doing when I asked. When they were done, they cleaned inside and outside the house. The project took a full day and was very well done.
