Coloblast did an excellent job, they were very responsive with their communication about our project, did an excellent job and was very accommodating with what we wanted. They went above and beyond, the painters were very professional and friendly, and Amanda gave us a quote that was very detailed and explained every step, which we appreciated! Would definitely recommend them!

absolute worst company I have EVER delt with! From the get go when they got here, the owner NATHAN had a horrible attitude cause he thought the house would be completely empty. Well, his nasty wife AMANDA got it wrong! She gave us a guaranteed price for the entire interior and signed the contract. (She was the one who came and did the quote) then he made us pay 400 more! Dont forget his unprofessional attitude. I should have looked at these horrible reviews before choosing the lowest price out of 3 companies. They took 2 wks to paint and my house is only 1400 sqft. He would always go out to smoke on his weed pipe. He said he would not paint the inside of my closets different than white. It was just as easy to do as white. He is very controlling! The celing, the OWNER NATHAN SPRAY painted was horrible. Spots of yellow everywhere! The other worker agreed and offered to repaint the correct way with a ROLLER. Once again, the OWNER NATHAN, left LEAKING paint buckets on my hardwood floor and you will see in my photos what Happened. No sry or mentioning of it. I talked to another worker about it. The rsn I did not make him replace my floor was because the floors were not great in the first place. I heard him on my camera blaming my dogs lol the doors were always SHUT so my animal would not go In and ruin freshly painted walls. I also have pics of a fair amt of paint splatter on my leather couch and floors. There was paint on all hinges. Some walls were not double coated and you can tell! Thst was by his worker Jose! Jose fills all nail holes and gaps with paint, which is a very slow process! Caulk baby caulk!! NATHEN also painted windowsill the same color as the walls, a light gray lol we all knw they should be white lmao! Smoke another one dude! It was a horrible 2 wks. I could of fired them but I needed it done fast for putting house on market. Now, I have read all reviews and the very unprofessional owners always comment back with this and that, trying to make it all the clients fault lol good try guys, but just look at all these awful reviews

The quality of their work was very good and I was very pleased with the way the cabinets came out a lot better than I thought they would I would hire them back for future work when I need it.

Colorblast did a nice job paining the trim on my house. They worked quickly and got back to me in a timely manner when I had questions.

Colorblast Painting did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our house. Great communication with Amanda at Colorblast in preparation for the job. She connected us with Rob at Sherwon-Williams who was great consulting on base and accent colors and even made visits to the site to ensure the end product came out as envisioned. Jose and Maria were a great crew and easy to work with. Excellent communication about the stages of work and progress. We will definitely work with the Colorblast team again!

Do not hire this company. They rescheduled the start date twice, then when I informed them of damage that was done to my brand new dryer, straight away Nathan the boss refused to accept responsibility and accused me of the damage.( I couldn't believe his really bad attitude, it was as if he didn't really care). I sent him a picture of the damage and he said he would send one of his workers out to look at it and fix it, then that appointment was reschedule twice again. When Nathan did finally come out to look at the damaged dryer, I expressed my displeasure at the fact that one, I didn't appreciate his nasty text messages to me and the fact that he had tried to lay the blame for the damage on me, to which he replied " it wasn't him that wrote the text's it must have been his wife" seriously, he couldn't even own up to the nasty messages, and two, the fact that he didn't even apologize for the damage. I did tell him that my review of his company would not be a favorable one, which didn't seem to bother him, so my advice is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The initial customer service and response time was very professional. After securing the job the professionalism and overall customer service declined. Although the subcontractor who performed the work was courteous and accommodating, Nathan and Amanda could have been more involved and in tune with the progress of the job. The work was completed to my satisfaction but took longer than anticipated.

Great customer service from Nathan and Amanda and Jose! They worked well with me to get to the goal of the happy place and happy face when all was done. I would use them again for sure.

I have to leave for work a 7:30 am. Nathan made sure that the painting foreman showed up at 7:00 to talk to me about the progress and some issues with the job. They are very neat and clean up every day. I recomend them highly.

Did a fabulous painting job on our 1908 home in old downtown San Leandro, despite some delay due to El Nino. Also sanded refinished deck to look almost new.

Great sales pitch. After that "talk to your foreman". This was the foreman's first day with the company. Didn't even talk to the owner prior to coming out so didn't know "what had been agreed upon". Pretty much had to supervise the job. Didn't complete all the work agreed upon. Left adhesive on the windows, paint stains etc Messy and unorganized. Seems like he has a problem keeping his employees.

It was like they hired high school freshmen to come slap paint around. Some areas of the job were not properly prepped. Some things were not masked before painting (door bell, a door nob, hose bibs) The work was so bad we had to withhold final payment until the owner came out to correct a plethora of errors. Among other egregious things, they broke our back door and left our home unsecured on three days, and in the end I had to repair it myself as they could not after several tries. His crew left our yard an absolute mess and when I complained to him about how serious this was (their lunch remains drew animals that strew garbage across our yard) he took an attitude of it not being a big problem. They did clean it up the next day, but something so basic as "keep the job site safe and clean" should *never* be a problem in the first place. Highly unprofessional. Areas of the trim were unpainted or painted the wrong colors. Decorative or functional items removed from the house were abandoned in the yard. They hit a motion sensor light fixture with a ladder and broke it, and the owner claimed he was doing me a favor replacing it, that it really wasn't his responsibility. After all that and more he sent us threats of putting a lien against our home and an E-mail that was so threatening in nature we reported him to the police for it, all because we we asked for an itemized invoice of a $750 dry rot repair we had not authorized and wanted to know why the 15 sq ft. of short siding boards cost so much to replace. He gives attitude and blames others, including the home owner, when something goes wrong and then accuses you, his victim, of trying to cheat him. He doesn't seem to know, and certainly doesn't follow, the terms of the contract he provides. I can supply a link to pictures of how his crew left our house and its current state after Mr. Martinez came out to correct most of their errors if people are interested. I believe him to be dishonest as he has lied to us on several occasions and we feel we can no-longer trust anything he says. Currently we are in dispute and trying to resolve the remaining issues of of seeking a refund of the extra money we paid for a warranty we can never use, and asking his bond company to physically verify that all three coats of paint were put on the house as the contract calls for (1 primer and 2 finish coats, both he and his crew at times have said it was not and he has also said it was). Avoid this person. If he was good once, he is no longer. 11/21... was cleaning some of the gutters today and discovers that he did not paint the chimney properly. Only painted areas visible form the ground. Top is not painted, they only painted the areas visible from the ground. They seem to try and get away with anything they can.

Very prompt, very straightforward with estimate. Very nice paint job.

I hired Nathan Martinez and his crew to paint my 1910 two start Edwardian in Berkeley. The house is so old some of the wood panels had rotted in the back. Nathan is a skilled carpenter as well as painter and replaced the panels with new wood at a minimum cost. Nathan offers thousands of colors to choose from. We choose a beautiful sage green with a dark green trim. The porch is brilliant dove white. Nathan's crew continually asked my opinion on how the job was going and if the trim was painted exactly how I wanted. Nathan spent 1 day to repair the rotten wood and just 3 days to prime, paint and trim. The total cost of under $5K was much less that other painters who quoted me $10K or more. Great work for very reasonable rates!

The two-man crew worked very hard and the carpenters brought in to do some repairs did a great job. Attention to detail (spilled paint, missed areas patching and sanding) and communication during the project could have been better but the house looks great. It was a good value for the price. If you inspect the job as it progresses, and bring problems or issues to Nathan's attention as they arise, he and his crew will respond quickly.

Work was done in timely fashion and with excellent quality.

Nathan and his crew started on 4/28 and completed on 5/2. The work was fantastic. I am very pleased with everything they did including replacing some bad deck boards. I would recommend Nathan and his crew.
