Ian showed up and provided me with a written bid (not something other contractors were willing to do!).  I had several bids and Ian's was the most reasonable.  Once we agreed on terms, he began right away.  He showed up every day right on time.  He worked throughout the day and then cleaned up the site before leaving for the day.  Ian made sure to play his music at a level so as not to disturb me while I was inside my home.  He was very cordial every day in letting me know he was there and always let me know when he was leaving for the day.  I had one concern about some stone pieces looking incorrect and Ian took care of it right away.  He is very open to discussing the job and is not in any way defensive.  The work Ian did was pure artistry!  There were several different sizes of stone and colors and to put it on the walls and have it look nice is definitely a talent.  Everyone on the block has commented on what a beautiful job he did.  I would be happy for anyone to view his work on my home and would highly recommend him for any job.  He was an absolute joy to work with and I'm a tough customer to please as I have very high standards.
