Better than I clould have imagined. They were in and out within a couple hours. The workmanship was perfect. Plus, I had some underneath lighting to my kitchen cabinets that haven't worked in 30 years. They fixed that with no charge. This was the second time I used them with a year, and both time I was elated with the work. This time I didnt boither even gettiung a second quote from another company.

The Excel Electric office staff promptly responded to my request for an estimate. An electrician arrived on time that very same day. The electrician was professional and courteous. The job requested was completed in a timely manner, all for a reasonable price. I will definitely hire Excel Electric for any future electrical work at my home.

Tyler was prompet. He was very professional. He went right to work and was careful to make sure there was no damage to our new chandeliers.. After installation he made sure his work area was clean. I would recommend Excel Electric to anyone who needs electrical work.

Daughters house needed a ceiling light installed and there was a problem with the light switch turning it on/off. Spoke with Tom on the phone and he correctly determined it was probably a ceiling fan hook up. if we wanted to switch to a light there might need to be a new wire run with some drywall work as well. we chose to do another ceiling fan with a light. it took about an hour to install and the electrician was able to make it work without needing the remote. I need to mention that they were pretty booked and Tom squeezed us in if we could be flexible on the time. Great job. We have used him before and will again.

Two electricians arrived spot on time. The electrical work was performed efficiently and exactly as requested. They also did a good cleanup before leaving. Unfortunately, the men became somewhat sloppy during the drywall cutting phase. I understand that electricians generally do not repair drywall, but there is no reason to make repair work more difficult for others.

Have heard so many horror stories about the difficulty of getting electricians, I was pleasantly surprised that I called late Friday afternoon and was given an appointment for Monday 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. Quote was $150 plus cost of parts. Technician (sorry don't remember his name) was right on time, replaced the outlet quickly, and charged me $144.00 due to senior discount. Will use again if needed.

The crew showed up on time and got right to work. They had a great deal of confidence in performing the services. They knew what they were doing and could answer all my questions. I had them add several of my own Intermatic timer switches. Only one of the switches did not work properly at first. When I called the next day, they scheduled service quickly and repaired the switch in no time.

When I called the company, the phone was answered by a nice lady who asked what we needed done and then scheduled the appointment. She also went over their rates, so there would be no surprises. I was able to get an appointment within 3 working days. Brady, the technician arrived 10 minutes early. I showed him everything that needed to be done. The biggest issue was figuring out a way to get power to the top of an awning post so that we could have retractable drop-down shades installed. We are in a new manufactured home, which meant Brady had to do most of the work under the house. I was concerned because he is several inches taller than my 6'3" husband. But Brady didn't flinch. He got right to work, making needed changes to the breaker and bringing in the lines we needed. Given the amount of work that needed to be done, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had to come back a second day. But he was able to finish everything in 6 hours. We will definitely use Excel Electric for any future electrical work.

The break in the circuit couldn’t be located so a compromised workaround was done....not ideal. The GFI worked fine for about 2 months and then blew again....not sure if the plug was defective or if it’s failure was for some other reason.

Tom resolved the problem right away. The problem had to do with the way the power was wired from the external outlet to the interior switch. The work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. I would recommend Excel to all who need an electrician

Another company doing some contract work for us told us we needed a new panel box and wiring to get up to code and to fix our power problem to the outside outlets and fixtures. They proposed a contract for $39k! I said no. I called up Excel based on the reviews here. Tom answered the phone himself, and when I explained the problem he tried to solve it over the phone (no charge) by having me trip the circuit breakers and gfi's. I told him we had already done this... and we had. Multiple times. So Tom sent out a tech that day, and gave me a 2-hour time window. The tech arrived well within the window. Turns out it was a GFI, hidden in a corner of the garage where no one had ever thought to look. But the tech found it, because even though he couldn't see it, he said he knew it had to be there. Helped me move an old arcade machine out of the way, and there it was. The icing on the cake is, he said our panel box was up to code. Well worth the $140 service charge (plus $20 to replace the GFI) for that information! I will definitely call Excel again, and definitely NOT the other company (who will also be getting a very different review).

Technician identified the problem quickly and explained what had happened. A simple solution was provided that did not involve extra cost and a permanent solution was suggested if the problem recurred. The technician was obviously very knowledgeable and professional. I was amazed that the company was able to work in an immediate appointment for me so that my sprinkler system could go back to work.

Excellent. These guys are pros and in the top 1% of electricians. I own several properties so I have had lots of experience in dealing with hiring guys in the trades. They were awesome and far exceeded my expectations. They did not make one additional hole in the wall which is rare for electricians. Their bids with materials were competitive and above all they ended up fixing electrical work that I didn't realize was bad until; they ended up fixing it. Justin and Ryan did a great job.Price includes materials.
