Costco

It is a big box store. It?s a chain and there is nothing like them. It is great and above another store. It makes you feel like you are getting something a little bit better than the masses with great prices. I spend a lot there. I tell my friends that if they don?t sell it at Costco, then I don?t need it. They sell gasoline and tires. However, they don?t sell the gasoline at this particular store although I think they are in the process of a remodel. The gas station is as clean as a whistle and the cars are stacked up. It goes quite smoothly. You might have to sit in your car for 5 minutes waiting it to be turned on by gas, but the prices are great. It is safe, well lit and sheltered from the rain. They don?t have people who can put air in your tires or anything like that. You can?t check your oil and can?t even wash your windshield. So, that?s not part of the program, but you can buy good quality gas for quite cheap. I have taken my Mercedes over the years, but I have never had a knock or a pain or anything while using their premium gasoline. Their prices are usually a little bit cheaper than what you think is the best price in town. So, I don?t think you can beat it. There is a fellow named John in the tire center at San Juan who is really worth mentioning. He is the manager there and he has been the manager forever. He is a great, big burly guy. He has a big intimidating presence. He shakes your hand and he is just a big teddy bear type of a guy. He is very honest, straightforward and helpful. He has got hard working people there. They give you a guarantee. If I go there with some problem with my tires, one of the people there will become available within 5 minutes or so. Then they will come over to check my tires, put air in my tires and will refuse to take a tip as well. They will give me a smile too. I used to go to another place and my friend over there advised me that I couldn?t buy Michelin tires as cheap as I could get them at Costco. I have always gotten the Michelin tires from there. They typically last for 40,000 or 45,000 miles before I need another set. So, they have good prices, good product, good service and a good service manager at their tire center. They have a return policy that you have to put a lot of stock in although they limit you to 90 days for electronics. They extend the warranty to two years. They typically have very good products to begin with. So, whoever the buyers are, they really do their homework and they don?t present you with stuff that?s not good. The product isn?t always the same although there is a lot of consistency in most areas. It?s seldom that I buy something at Costco that I am not very pleased with. When I am not pleased, they allow me to bring it back with a smile. I know Greg who is the person who works in returns and he has been at the register area as well. There are lots of good people there. I have seen people come and go and people who have moved back to different states. They have been transferred as well because they have been such good employees. The quality of the product is a lot better as well. I truly like their store. If I really was stuck having to spend the rest of my life going to one retailer, I think Costco might be it. They have wonderful food. You can buy meat that is $13.99 a pound and that?s a bargain. Under that is choice which is sold at a reasonable rate. They have the standard things at Costco, but they also have a lot of things that are high quality at really good prices. You can get chaise lounge for your backyard, patio table, patio umbrellas, plants and all kinds of food. You can get a real assortment. You have the ability to buy things in concert with Costco outside the big box store be it automobiles, merchant credit service which I have utilized for a business, shutters and carpets as well. There is also a website where you can buy even a greater array of products. It?s a real way to facilitate shopping if you need to go see it and touch it.
