From the first phone call, the initial inspection and quote, to day of, and clean up, I felt very comfortable with the whole process. The quote was provided by Dave who came out and looked at the areas needing removal. This exchange was done with my Mom, as I could not be present. I took over from there and couldn't have had a better experience with Colleen. The morning of removal came and due to the carpet padding and excess dust (it is a construction site) the job could not be completed and we needed to reschedule. Despite this "bump in the road", I was made a priority and we rescheduled promptly for two days later. I fully understood the need to rescheudle and had zero issue with it. The crew showed up two days later and quickly got to work. One gentleman showed me how areas will be sealed off and where the fan would be. I was able to have the air tested (another company) the following day. I informed Colleen and she sent the crew out to clean up and remove their items. The crew was prompt, and quick.
I am having them return on 5/21/15 to remove the asbestos filled tape and insulation around my ducts in the garage. This will be a one day job and will not require any testing. Just removal and disposal.
I would 100% pass Zcon Specialty's info along to anyone in need of their services.

Z-con was a little hard to contact (they didn't always call back in a timely manner). However, the work appears to have been done very well--they hauled away (in plastic bags), the asbestos-wrapped materials. They also completely removed an old heater system that was attached to the ducting. Their price was competitive and their workers arrived on time and left the work area clean and free of debris/material. They also did a good job covering up all of the ducts inside the house before removing the asbestos under the house.

Tang was terrific. The crew was professional and performed work as promised. This project was not an easy one, and homeowners should be prepared for a huge mess. I was a little surprised at how beat up the ceilings get, but I have been told by others that this is not totally uncommon. Be prepared to move everything out of your house.

They were on time and fast, however, they left a mess. They did not clean the walls of the adhesive remover and the tape they used to cover the windows and doors removed the paint. They left without letting me know they were done. When I called the company, the owner said he would come by to see the final work, but never showed.
