Winger Electric

Our general contractor hired Winger Electric as the electrical sub-sontractor on our addition/remodel project. Mr Winger was a disaster right from the beginning. He was a constant no-show and left a mess when he was here. His work had to be constantly inspected to ensure that dangerous situations did not exist after he was done. He drilled thru an engineered support(Hardi-frame) to pull wire. (The Hardi-frame had to be replaced, city inspector would not pass it with the holes drilled into it.) He skinned wires when pulling runs, left wire nuts so loose they simply pulled off. He skinned romex so wires were exposed outside of junction boxes etc., etc. The worst thing Mr. Winger did was dangerously wire our dryer outlet. When my wife plugged the dryer in she drew an arc. We found a screw had pierced the hot wires insulation. We are hoping that thru our city inspectors and our own inspections, we have found & repaired all of Mr. Wingers shoddy work. Needless to say he will never do work for us again.
