They are fine. We chose them because we got an experience when we needed a rescue dog. We got a pre-vet visit with the rescue dog.

Overall, their doctors, technicians, nurses and receptionists are very friendly to the animals and their owners. They make you feel comfortable. My dog is my first dog, so I'm inexperienced in many aspects and had to pay a visit to them to get my questions answered. My dog got sick a few times, ear infection, scooting, tape worm, etc. There is once that he just couldn't move, like paralyzed. They were able to provide a solution each time I visited them. As a dog owner, nothing makes me happier than seeing my dog be healthy and happy again. I think I'll go there again the next time my dog is sick.
Price wise, I think they are above average and close to the expensive side. However, when my dog is sick or something is bothering him, I don't think about money as much. Anyway, can someone tell me anything related to medical care that is not expensive in the US? I don't go to their hospital for vaccination, because I can find good and much cheaper ones at the pet stores nearby. That indeed saved me some bucks.

They were excellent. They were very kind, very thoughtful and they called back to see how the animal was doing. They couldn't have been better. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We use to routinely board our pet there. Our cat died about a year ago. They did a very nice job with our cat all the time we took our cat down there. They are very concerned about the animals and treat them very well. It's a nice environment. They are reasonably priced and efficient. They are people who like animals and treat them very well.

I used to take a dog, which is no longer with us, and we liked the way they handled and take care of animal. Their quality of work is good and has given me 100% satisfaction to me. Price is a little bit on the high side but the quality of their veterinarian and hospital I don't have anything to complain about, its excellent.

They have a good group of doctors there. Overall I have been satisfied with the services and will continue to use them in the future.

I have brought these animals to the same groomers for a year. The animals were afraid of them, one of my dogs bit one of the groomers which has never happened before, and the quality of their work was horrible,even after being told I was dissatisfied numerous times. Complaining to the front desk never brought any changes. I left for a wonderful groomer called the groomery and told them so. Do not waste your money.

GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF. VERY CLEAN ENVIRONMENT. WALKED BACK and CHECKED OUT THE KENNELS- THEY ARE INDOOR and VERY CLEAN. DOGS ARE FED ON THE SCHEDULE YOU PROVIDE and WALKED TWICE A DAY.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. I REALLY APPRECIATED THEM OFFERING ME THE WELLNESS PROFILE SINCE I HAD LOST A DOG ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO DUE TO KIDNEY DISEASE and IF I WAS OFFERED THIS TEST BACK THEN, I WOULD PROBABLY STILL HAVE MY BELOVED BOXER, COCO.

THE STAFF AND DOCTORS AT VCA ALMADEN ARE ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. OUR DOG IS FAIRLY LARGE AND AGGRESSIVE WITH STRANGERS, BUT THE PEOPLE AT VCA HANDLE HIM NICELY AND WITH LITTLE STRESS TO MY DOG.

THEY ARE A WONDERFUL GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMALS.

THE GROOMERS WERE KIND AND COMPETENT.
