Everything went very well. I know it was an easy "fix" for the service person, but he came in, knew just what to do, moved the stove, and when he was done, put the stove back in place. There were no problems.

We called in the morning expecting to wait until the following week but got a 4 hour window for that morning...the repairman was at the house withing the first hour and had the dryer repaired within 45 minutes.  We will definately be using them for any future work.

The technician took a look at our fridge and said he needed to order a part directly from GE. We asked how long it would take and he said approx 10 days since he had to get it from the manufacturer and there's a holiday coming up (4th of July). He said we would have to pay for the part up front, ($360) and could pay for the labor when he came back to install it. Wrote him a check and he was on his way. The next day he calls and says he has the part and could be here in 30 min...ok....not the 10 days he mentioned but that's a good thing so I wasn't complaining. He was here shortly after he called. The day before he gave me an estimate that included the part and labor. The total was $560.53 so the balance remaining was the $200.53 since I had already given him a check the day before for the part. After working on the fridge he said he'd have to leave and return with another part...???? Whatever, he comes back with the other part and now the price goes up another $60. The whole ordeal seemed pretty shady to me. I'm glad my fridge is working but I gotta admit I feel like we were taken. I won't be using this company again.

This is a textbook example of the right thing to do. I've read some bad reviews of this company and, from my perspective, I cannot understand those reviews. Over the years, I've used Thomas Appliance for problems not only with the refrigerator but also the washer and dryer. This company isn't cheap (but what worthwhile, dependable company is?) but the work they've done has been just fine and they are very dependable and honest. I would (and have) used them over and over again.

I called at about 9:30 a.m. and was given a window for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for that day. The repair person arrived at about 11:15. He diagnosed the problem and showed me what caused it. No parts were needed, just a clean-out of the hose and air intake. He fixed the problem, tested the dishwasher 4 times to be sure it was working properly, cleaned up and was finished in a little over an hour.

We were using our microwave and oven (GE Dual-Wave II built into wall) to finish making Thanksgiving dinner when the entire unit shut down with a "pop." We tried resetting the outside breaker but the unit kept popping and the breaker wouldn't stay on. The next day (Friday) we called Thomas Appliance and they said they could have someone out to our house on Monday. Since we could not be home that day we made the appointment for Tuesday between 9am and noon. They told us that the technician would call before he came by. At 10am he called, and arrived a few minutes later. He checked the circuit breaker outside, then checked the internal electronics and wiring on the microwave system (which also controls the oven). At that point he told us it was an electrical problem and he would have to pull the whole unit out, with an estimated cost of $200. We said OK, and he pulled the unit part way out and checked the wiring behind the unit. He finally traced the problem to a bad connection (which had shorted out and fried some wires) in a junction box above the system. From start to finish the total time was around 45 minutes, and the technician (Doug) was very professional and courteous. The entire area was left clean and you could not tell that he had pulled the unit away from the wall. The original person who answered our phone call was also very courteous and she asked detailed questions to make sure they understood our problem. Overall, this was an excellent experience.

He told me it looked like it had been rebuilt before. He recommended that I not buy a new floor furnace. He said the quality now is not nearly as good as the older ones. The negative part of this service experience is that he did not diagnose the problem right the first time, instead he listened to someone else, he didn't check it himself. Instead he rebuilt it when it may not have needed that.

They came the next day and told us what was the matter. They ordered the part and 2 days later came back out and fixed it. It runs great. Good customer service and response time. They always called in advance and came on time (a miracle in any contracting typo business).

One of the parts that were needed for the refrigerator had to be ordered from a separate place and he asked me if he could just come back tomorrow. I spoke up and said no, so he went and got the part and came back on the same day to finish all of the work. I was surprised because there were parts laying all over my kitchen floor. He got all of the loose pieces back in and did a good job with it. He does great work, but he is a little bit pricey.

After he left, I took everything out and defrosted the whole thing. After I plugged it back in, it worked fine. The problem was that the ice was on the blades and it could not run. I was not happy because he told me that he would be there between 9-12 and he didn't come until 5:00. The only thing that was nice was that they kept calling me to tell me that they were running late, but I think that it could have been avoided.

Fair. It took a few days longer than they said to get the part, and then a while longer than expected for the repair. Afterwards, we noticed that the top rack was off it's rails.

It went fine, but dragged out over several weeks, and did not fix the problem. Now I have to find another repair service to solve the problem.

Great responsiveness when I called by phone. Came out next day to diagnose the problem. Did not charge me for this time and spent some time testing out oven temperature. However Dee did not show up until after the appointed time window on both occasions. I did get a call near the end of the time window to say he was running late. He did not dispose of used parts or test to make sure repair was successful. One of the parts I wanted but I didn't want the other garbage. He otherwise cleaned up after himself. He also replaced a stove top cover (easy while oven apart) with a cover I had on hand without charge. Repair fixed problem.

Window for arrival was between 12-3. Tech called at 2:30 and said he was on his way. Arrived at 3:30 and detected the problem at 4. Said he would be back tomorrow at 11 am; arrived at 11:30. Tech was very polite and professional. Will call Dr. Dee's again for any appliance repair I need.

When I called, I was given an appointment window (4-7pm) for the very next day. The person who came to my home wasn't the person they said it would be, however, he did a great job. He called before he arrived at my home to make sure it was still a convenient for me. He opened up the oven, diagnosed the problem, got a spare part from his truck and fixed it all in less than an hour. He even tightened my oven light and got it to work after many months of it not working. Mr. Chu was very courteous. I'm trilled with the service I received and would definitely call Dr. Dee's again.

He was very pleasant. He checked out my washer and dishwasher and serviced them. He didn't try to get me to replace them and I felt he was very honest. He showed up on time, was polite and I would certainly use him again.

The guy who came out to fix the refrigerator was about 1 hour later than he said he would be, but he had all the parts necessary and was able to fix the unit. No other issues, except for being late.
