We were not pleased with the initial installation of the flooring. The flooring had been pieced and it showed badly. There were also chips out of some of the wood. The good news is that the contractor who had hired and paid the Wood Floor Company stood behind the work and had them return and redo the problem areas. All's well that ends well, we are now pleased with the work.

I was real disappointed in the quality of the installation. They didn't pre lay sections to see how they looked, they just installed plank by plank. It was difficult to communicate with the workers. I requested that they cull out the very dark planks or planks with knots in them. I was ignored. There are some gaps between planks. Not a good job.
