I had a handyman replace the toilets in my house. He told me I should have a plumber check out the pipes because there was some corrosion and lots of rust in the piping. So I found Phil from the Plumbing Company on Angie's List. He came out the next day. Noticed alot of the piping didn't match, Copper nipples on steel pipes, things like that. His first estimate was almost $8K. For opening up all the walls, replacing all the piping, everything from the garage to all the bathrooms. I told Phil there was no way we could do that much and could he give me an estimate for something lower. He changed it to simply replacing the nipples on all of the sinks, and changing a valve of a toilet. That ended up being $1400. The next day the sinks had no water pressure, so i called them back and Phil came right out and emptied the little filter on the end of the faucet and then the sinks worked fine. He also gave me some pointers on how to secure my water heater in the garage.

Phil was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.  He arrived within less than an hour and as promised despite the well after normal working hours timing.  The repair required him to go under the house in the dark, which he did twice without complaint.  Would definitely use him again.

Phil from The plumbing company came over on a Sunday and helped with water heater flush and also did a free inspection at my home.
I was impressed with Phil because he shared a lot of details about what one should do and what one should not. Also, he was very open about what are the things I could do at home myself and what would need their professional help. Overall, was a good experience.

Angie's list had a deal which I purchased for 49$, and this was an excellent deal because original cost of this service is 250$.

They were excellent to work with. They were people of integrity and excellence. Their communication was good, sensitivity to family and neighbors went well as far as schedule, and did what they said they would do.

They are definitely my plumbers for all of my houses and projects and will recommend them highly.

Positives: the plumber who came was competent, professional, clean and respectful to our house. He fixed the situation quickly. They were also able to book an appointment before some other plumbers that we called. Jobs are fixed-price, by the book, and no obligation in getting an estimate.
Cons: expensive (roughly $500+ in labor, for 1.5 hour job) and in this case late (2 hours after the arrival window, though they called to warn).
Our kitchen faucet was leaking, so we called and got an arrival window the next day, from 1pm-3pm. Just after 3pm, they called to let us know that there was a very unexpected situation, and that they would be late, and eventually came a little after 5pm.
The faucet needed to be replaced, which they did quickly, and we were satisfied with how the job was performed.
That said, the total bill was $876 for the faucet and fixing hoses, which struck us as somewhat high. Particularly, the retail value of the faucet they provided appeared to be $299. Even adding costs of connectors and tax, this is over $500 in labor, for what took 1.5 hours.
Other than the cost, we were happy with the work. But given that, I think we'll probably try a different plumber next time.

I thought they were prompt and very clear/precise about their timing and scheduling. They always came on time to do the work. I was very happy with their services.

I woke up to water running out from under the house. Called my regular plumber who was not available. I found The Plumbing Company here on Angie's List. There were only a few reviews, but they were close by and had emergency service. I looked them up on Yelp and found many positive reviews there, so I gave them a call. Judy was very friendly and helpful and, despite the fact that all their plumbers were already heading out to other jobs, she rerouted someone to get him here right away. He was here within the hour, diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. He left to get parts and returned quickly. The actual work only took about forty minutes, so I was a little surprised at the price. He said it was because it was difficult to access. Our crawl space is large enough to stand up in and accessible through a full-sized door. However, our house is on a slope so the area that he was working in was uneven and there is no flooring, just the dirt slope, which had become extremely muddy from the leak, so I am sure that made it tricky. It turned out to be a fitting that had corroded, so he replaced that part of the pipe. He was very professional, friendly and quick. They provided a 6 month warranty on the work.

Judy and Phil were extremely professional, came on time and address my problem in a timely manner.  I would not hesitate to use them again in an emergency.  With all that said, it was definitely more expensive than other plumbers I had hired in the past.  I got charged $400 to do less than an hour of work.  I understand their flat price structure, but even if it took 2 hours it would still come out to $200 per hour.  The price is a little steeper than I would like, but they were definitely professional and quick.  I recommend them

We have been having drain issues that have progressively gotten worse over the past several months. After using different plumbing companies to cable our sewer and giving us quotes for  repairing it we found ?The Plumbing Company?.The technician that came out was Chris. He was extremely professional in explaining to me and my husband the sewer leaving my house and entering the street. Chris took the time to explain
the importance of having clean outs and their purpose. I really appreciated this since I really did not have any idea as to the system and how the codes have changed over the years. This would explain why plumbers from other companies cabled the line from my roof vent which ultimately
resulted in roof damage.Chris went under my house and inspected the plumbing to make sure that all was ok. He reported
that the drain lines were in good condition and provided me with pictures also.Now to the sewer. Chris installed a building clean out for us which makes it easy to maintain the sewer when we have problems. He used a sewer camera and showed me and my husband the
interior of our sewer which was loaded with root intrusion. The 30 year old pipe served it?s purpose and we elected to retire it so we would not have to be inconvenienced any more. The crew that came out was fast and very clean, hauling away all the debris. Our new pipe was
installed and we were hardly inconvenienced at all. They took care of all the permits and inspections leaving us happy customers. Another reason why we elected to have The Plumbing Company do the work was their warranty, 20 years. Others were 1 to 3 years. They were not the
lowest in their price but I believe that the professionalism, craftsmanship and quality of service far out weighed the price. As someone once put it ?there are garages and then theirs the dealership? it is just what a consumer wants and expects when their paying.
