Sprayed my patio storage closet for termites. The work was thorough and professional.

I have worked with Taps termite for decades since I am in Real Estate business.  They have always done a good job, charged reasonably and worked professionally.
Taps had done Fumigation and section I works for houses I prepared for rent or for sale.

I was impressed with TAPS: very friendly, professional, easy to deal with, and they do good work.
BUT they subcontract out the fumigation to Cost Le$$ Fumigation, and require you to fill out two sets of paperwork, one for them and one for Cost Le$$. The contract for theCost Le$$ includes language that says if anything is missing or damaged, they're not responsible--I didn't like that at all. They dug dirt out of the garden to put around the edges of the tarp, and didn't do a very good job of putting it back. And the chipped our laminate floor.
Bottom line is that I like TAPS Termite, but not Cost Le$$ Fumigation.

UPDATE: I'm still not happy with CostLe$$ Fumigation, but TAPS Termite has gone well above and beyond the call to make things right. I can't imagine what more they could do to address my issues, and so I do recommend them. They can and will use someone other than CostLe$$ for fumigation, and I recommend that.

Tim from Taps did the inspection and confirmed the presence of termites. We discussed the process of fumigation is detail. Taps gives a significant discount if you prepay before the treatment. They subcontract the actual fumigation out to Costless Fumigation. They arrived on time, were very professional and tented he whole house and treated it. We were informed before hand how to prepare for the fumigation and what the process entailed. At this time there is no evidence of persistent infestation.

We have used them for 35 or 40 years. They are straight shooters and do great work.

I had a great experience with TAPS.  They were recommended by a coworker, and didn't disappoint! We had found some swarmers in our house and contacted a few places for estimates.  TAPS was the only company that came out and did an actual inspection before recommending a treatment plan.  The inspection cost $190, and was very thorough - the report is about 4 times as long as the one we got from different company for our move-in inspection.  TAPS included treatment options both for fumigation and the local treatment, along with warranties for both.  Since our problem was pretty small and easily identified, we went for the local treatment, costing $1035 including some other dry rot cleanup on an outbuilding in the backyard. The fumigation estimate was less than $2000 - a full $1000 cheaper than the other estimates we received.  All in all a great experience, and I'll definitely be working with TAPS again in the future!

We have used them at least twice. We use them when there is a need and do a termite inspection if we saw termites. They did find them one time and came out and did some work on the structure. They also applied the poison for them and tented the house. We are in the process of having them come back and work on the area they found have termites. I like them. They were certainly very responsive, on time and also thought they did very good work. The representative that came was very good, accommodating and they also stood by their guarantee.

Easy to understand inspector report and estimate. Took care of contacting PG&E to disconnect gas. Showed up and finished on time. Contacted me to discuss some issues that came up when repairs were being done. Very helpful giving sound advice. No surprises on the charges. Inside staff very helpful to provide explanation of paperwork and invoice. Did a good job.

We accepted TAPS proposal and had our home tented. The actual fumigation was subcontracted to Discount Fumigation, Inc., and that job was not satisfactory. In the course of tenting our home, they destroyed a TV antennae that was supposed to be taken down from the roof, but instead it was thrown to the ground and broken in several pieces. A separate report will be submitted for them. TAPS took responsibility for making sure we were compensated for the damages and worked with Discount Fumigation to reimburse us. After the fumigation, we proceeded with TAPS for repairs that needed to be done. Their workmen arrived on time, were professional, and did a good job. They cleaned up well, and everything was left in good order. Anita in the office was professional, responsive, friendly, and made sure their customers were taken good care of. Anita and Gary are delightful to work with.
