Description of Work: Jeff Mercer from South County Construction did an initial bathroom remodel for us that included demolition, replacing a bathtub, complete tile around the bathtub, painting, replacement of the toilet and vanity. | |The bathroom looks fantastic, Jeff was very detail oriented, professional and he kept the work area very clean each day. We have Jeff coming back in a few weeks to remodel another bathroom and to add another bedroom and bath. Needless to say, we are using him again and would not hesitate for a second to recommend South County Construction to others.

ceramic tile, fireplaces, home remodeling
 + 1 moreMy experience with them was good. I have had other work done by them before. He is busy a lot, so it was hard for me to schedule doing a smaller project. For example, I wanted to have my fireplace remodeled. He seems to have a lot of bigger jobs like kitchens, bathrooms and that sort of thing. I would not use him again in the future, because I think that he is too hard to schedule.
Description of Work: South County Construction and Painting retiled the fireplace and retiled the front entry. They also built a custom mantle for the fireplace. I have had my kitchen redone by them a few years before.

 + 0 moreThe work went very well from removal of the old materials promptly and carefully to the completed project. Care was taken to insure the longevity of the new work by adding flashing along the house where fencing and deck meet, to extra support under the deck. While the work was going on, the job was never left without making sure sure there was safe access to the yard from the house for both people and pets.
Description of Work: An old wooden deck and fence were taken out. New wood fence and a composite deck were installed. The deck included a step and sprinkler control cover. The deck was done in an accent pattern and the fence was lattice topped.

 + -1 moreJeff was always very professional, completing the job in the time promised, keeping the work area neat and clean, and having good communication on what I could expect. I felt that I could always trust what he was doing and rely on him to do a good job.
Description of Work: Three bathrooms were remodeled with granite counter tops, tiled shower and tub areas, new lighting, added electrical outlets, new mirrors, and new tiled flooring, and cabinets refinished; all walls and ceilings throughout the house were painted, banisters and mantel were refinished, new lighting was installed in entry, halls, and stairwells.
