I had a contract with David Soliz on re-pipe a house which is around 2100 square feet, has 4 bath sinks, 2 showers, 3 toilets, 1 kitchen sink, 1 water heater, 1 washer in September 2017 for $8200 in south bay. Time line of the re-pipe job. His working hours in my house usually from 1-2pm to 8-9pm. Twice continuously no show for 3 days. 9/1/17, we signed initial contract, $4000 deposit paid. 9/6/17. House is empty and gave house key to David, communicated fumigation schedule. David said job will be started next day, and agreed job done by 9/25/17. 9/11 - 9/14, 3 days fumigation and 1 day subterranean termite treatment 9/27/17, Family moved in, no drinking and shower water. David came in from 8:00-8:45pm to connected water heater and shower. 10/1/17, David said job done at 7:30pm. Reviewed 3rd revised contract, asked for $1K+ extra charge without extra charge receipt/invoice. Job Safety: Gas leak from water heater connection from 9/27/17 8:00pm to 10/1/17 3pm, around 90 hours. The water heater just located out if bed rooms. 2 adults and 2 young kids live in the house. Home owner detected and pointed out to David. David fixed it. During the gas leaking period, David was working in the house from 11am to 6pm every day. When I asked him why not did safety check. He said just not fast a screw. David worked alone to remove a heavy transite or asbestos cement pipe which is the venting for water heater. The transite fell, broke hole in ceiling, scratch door and dent on hardwood floor. Not follow building code. I clearly asked the water hammer for washer at initial estimate. It was not installed. Called on 6/21/18. David came and did a ugly fix, see the attached photo. Also most of pipe at crawl space was not fasted and supported. And corrosion happened at welding joint.

We had perform 24 years of plumbing and HVAC service and installations with all jobs up to code. And never have we had problems that couldn’t be quickly solved. throughout all inspections.
