Simon Says Roofing

Simon Says Roofing did an excellent job. On time & on price estimate.

We discovered significant leakage around a hatch to the roof right after a significant rain storm.  I called Simon Says and they were able to come out and look at what was needed.   Simon said that could not get to it right away because they had commitments for some other large jobs but could probably get to it in two to three weeks.  During that time period he called back and said they were scheduling several small jobs for the next couple of days and set up an appointment for the next day.  The workers arrived promptly at the appointed time and spent about three hours doing the repair.  This is the second time that I used Simon Says Roofing for a small job.   The other job actually took two days replacing a porch roof and some damaged plywood as well as fixing two leaky skylights.  I really like this contractor. He is very professional and his workers know what they are doing.  The leaky skylights were done about seven years ago and I have not had a problem since.  He is my go to guy for roofing work.

Simon Says was responsive to my needs although they were a little slow with paperwork back and forth. I am pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work, and the cleanup job they did. My only concern was that - after coming out to view the area to be repaired and giving an extimate, they called several days later to say they had made an error on the contract I had signed and it would cost an additional $100. I was disturbed by this error on their part, and their instance on the higher rate. I needed the job done within a 10 day period, and the other estimate I got - though the man was extremely responsive to my needs- was for almost double the new rate quoted by Simon. For that reason I agreed to the new contract which was arguably still a reasonable price, and I am pleased with the work. I just wish they had quoted the correct price the first time.

This company was very good. I felt they were honest and trustworthy, which is very important to me. They had creative ideas. The roof looks wonderful. They have very good pricing. They charged by the square foot, but I can't remember the total price.
