Had them install a new water heater. It took the technicians at least 2 hours to figure out how to do it. 2 weeks later, the inspector came and took one look at it and said this is wrong. The water heater they installed is too big , so the way they routed the flue is twisted and causing it to create a back up of carbon monoxide. It’s also strapped in too far from the walls and there’s supposed to be padding in between the wall and water heater in case of earthquake. And this is just the stuff I remember him saying! There was a lot they missed 😔 I called Service Champions right after the inspector left. And then again today. Supposedly they have 48 hrs to return my call. But no response yet.

The Technician Mr. Jason Kim came to our house was knowledgeable and overall did very good job. My only complaint is the cost of replacing the dual voltage stabilizer of one of our ACs which was $608 Res and with MVP $486 plus %50 discount if I sign up with membersip program. I paid $275 with membersip fee. I think way too excessive cinsidering that the cost of the dual voltage stabilizer (capacitor) is below $40. I felt that I was forced to get the MVP membership in a haste due to my desire to save momery on the repair.

I called someone else to look at it and they said it shows a code that shows exactly what was wrong and they told me I did not have a crack in it. I did not need a new furnace and I would never use this company again. I would strongly recommend going with someone else.

The repairs was quick and simple. It cost us less than we feared it would and the air conditioning works really well now. That said, the coupon was for a system tuneup, both heating and air conditioning and, according to my husband who was home at the time, only part of the job was done -- the air conditioning tuneup and we were sold a service contract for an additional $300. Apparantly this includes priority timing for service and regular checkups and servicing. We will follow up. My husband felt pressured by the serviceperson/salesperson to buy the service contract and, if it delivers as promised, it should be a good deal. The business practice of coming to do a repair then using that as a come on for a service contract, though, seems a little sleazy. Because my husband is quite elderly he felt pressured and also uncertain of what he had purchased.
