+ 0 moreScott made issues around the house 10x worse. Only one of the 6+ things we asked him to fix were fixed. There are now nails sticking out of our countertop from his error in installing (and failing to install) an appliance underneath. He also left trash around the home, continuously brought another contractor to work with him despite being asked not to several times, and generally performed basic services EXTREMELY poorly. Everything that he did (with one very exception) had to be taken apart and redone once he left. He then sent us a bill that was thousands of dollars. In addition, it took multiple requests before he agreed to send us copies of his receipts for the materials he bought for our house.

Description of Work: Scott-of-All-Trades did a remodel of a rental property for us. Scott found the architect, got the permits, and acted as the GC. The remodel was complex in that it required demolition of an existing deck and a garage to in-law suite. The construction of the new deck required new, deep, concrete pillars, which Scott managed. Besides the deck, Scott managed the remodel of the kitchen and several other rooms. Scott is a hands-on GC that brought the project in at the right price point for a rental property. Scott also does maintenance for properties in which he is involved.

+ -1 moreWe received three quotes and Scott's labor was not only less expensive, but he offered several recommendations on the hardware. Unlike the other two, who just quoted an outrageously high labor and product price, Scott took the time to visit and quote in person. Furthermore, he actually told me how to get the best deal on the hardware by buying direct.
Description of Work: Scott installed an Airscape 1.7 whole house fan. It was done ahead of schedule, and was clean and very professional.
