San Jose Heating and Cooling

Our air conditioning unit started to leak water from the coils. We had an HVAC pro come out to look at it and he suggested complete furnace and AC replacement. The AC is 15 years old and the furnace is 25, so it's not too surprising. But it took nearly a week to get an estimate and he never replied to any followup emails. So I called San Jose Heating & Cooling instead, based on good reviews and specialization in Carrier equipment. I got an immediate appointment, and when the project manager dropped by, he went over the work that needed to be done, discussed the options, and was able to get an estimate out by email immediately and they were able to schedule the job for the next week. The install crew showed up on time, worked the whole day and did really great work . They even noticed that the original estimate was not sufficient for our house and upgraded the unit for us while still honoring the original estimate! Afterwards, Armando pointed out all the fine details of installation to highlight the quality of labor, tested the system with us, and went over care and maintenance instructions. I was very happy with the responsiveness, quality of work, and thoughtful service, and would hire them again for any hvac needs.
