I am very happy with the ADU. Beautiful design with good suggestions. Project got approved very fast. Darwin is skilled designer . I'm highly recommending to use this this architect.

Mr Lazary is one of a kind. He sticks to his word and gets the job done! Despite the fact that the we changed our mind in the project multiple times, he was very patient with us and got it done. Unfortunately there aren't many of Lazary kind of architects left so use him for your next project and you will know what I mean.

Its a very happy journey working with Darwin, We wanted to remodel our newly bought home (condition was just ok) and gave some inputs to Darwin. But he made us think out of the box and gave us so many new ideas/designs and possibilities for the house, which we liked very much. He picks up the calls every time, gave us good time to discuss the plans. He addressed every question and concern of ours and was ready to make multiple changes to the design every time we get a new idea. He charged us very reasonably and he submitted all the permits on time and worked with contractor closely to make sure everything was right. He always made sure We are Happy and Satisfied with the Outcome 😊

Based in San Jose west, we wanted to add some space to the living room. Found Darwin based on search and we started on the project. Initially, the plan was to add @ 500sqft to the existing structure. Later, we added @ 80sqft to one of the bedrooms. We are friends for life now !

Darwin designed the plans for our addition per city standard and we were able to receive a permit with a very quick turn around. He worked with our contractor and city inspector to make certain the plans moved along smoothly. We completed the project ahead of schedule. We are now hiring Darwin from Rama Designs on our next project in 2025.

Darwin was tasked with a some what challenging bathroom remodel. Rama construction is a competent company, but they are careless and messy. The assistant used on this job spilled things scratched brand new vantiy and shower. Overall we are very disappointed in the job that still is not complete

Darwin is a very personable and easy to talk too. He schedules work in small pieces and by type (demolition, rough work, plaster, paint) which works great on large jobs but not on small ones. Where things could have been in parallel for this particular job I think he could have been finished 3 or 4 days sooner. His finish work is adequate, if you expect all door frames to be flush and all paint lines to be straight he is not the right contractor, his painter in my opinion is second rate, this is where he really fell down on the project. I would not use him again for finish work, rough construction he would do a very good job

Very courteous and prompt. Met all our expectations including costs, quality of work and timeliness. Will recommend them to anyone
