Communication:
- He sent his quote in 3 days (most other contractors took weeks and lots of reminding). The quote was specific, even had model numbers. He was very flexible on what to put on the contract and how to phrase it.
- He answers email the same day, often within a couple of hours
Professionalism:
- his suggestions about what kind of furnace, a/c and thermostat to install; where to install them and where to add additional vents were based on clear engineering reasoning. And he was the only one who would place the return air in the access hatch, thus requiring only a single opening in the ceiling.
- He was very flexible in coordinating his installation timing with other contractors.
- He was one of the very few who didn?t try to talk me out of permits/inspections. He pulled the permits himself and passed all his inspections in the first round.
- The installations went smoothly and fast. Dave and his guys were professional and courteous.
- He even checked into available rebates on the units, and suggested which ones were worth getting and which ones weren?t
