 + 0 moreUnfortunately for over one year now the subcontractor Robert Arellano II and his crew have never been paid for their labor by Qualitex Textured Coating of San Jose. I gave Robert my payment in the form of two checks to Qualitex, one at the start of the project, and one post dated for when the job was to be finished. He gave the two checks to Qualitex and both were cashed instantly. I was extremely happy with the work. My home looks great!. But Robert and his crew were never paid for the labor. I think this is criminal activity, worthy of calling the police, and I will not recommend the Qualitex people to anyone. I am extremely upset by this turn of events. I have called Qualitex Textured Coating of San Jose (at 818-703-1924) myself and they admitted that they have yet to pay him at all, but they said there is no problem and this would be taken care of. (The subcontractor was Robert Arellano II, 20906 Royal Ave, Hayward CA 94541, 510 289-8100) Now one month after my call, and over one year after the project was completed, he and his crew have not been paid. This is outrageous.
Description of Work: Our home was coated with Texcote, extremely well by the subcontractor, in our case Robert Arellano II. We love the job he and his crew did last summer (2009). I was extremely happy with the work. My home looks great!.
