Prime exterminators treated my home for both subterranean and drywood termites infestation.  The treatment included tenting fumigation and spraying in the crawl space beneath the home.   I was very grateful for their patience when one of my cats escaped beneath my house on the day they were spraying beneath it.   Of course the cat did not cooperate and required physical retrieval causing at least a 45 minute delay.   Jesse from Prime was very understanding.  Thanks Jesse!  So, yes, I would highly recommend this company.  There pricing was very competitive and the professionalism was of the highest standard.

We bought a house and the seller gave a pest inspection report. However, we had termite issues at a previous residence, and we wanted to make doubly sure that they were not going to be a problem, so for peace of mind, we had Prime Exterminators come out to take a look. Don was our inspector. He was very thorough and pointed out a number of things that the original inspection did not (like the fact that the house was treated for subterranean termites in 2008 ? the sticker notice was in the garage), Advised us on how to prevent infestations, and also pointed out a couple other things that didn't have anything to do with termites but was super helpful (mouse droppings in the garage and possible access points). Definitely worth the money.

they were on time and I guess they did what they have to do...they warned me of damage to roof but didn't seem to have anything wrong  with roof....some of the awning parts were moved and one roof gutter was knocked loose and I had to repair that. The price that I quoted was only after telling them about the senior discount on angies list and the girl had to check the ad to see if I was telling the truth.
Response from PRIME EXTERMINATORS

"Thank you for taking the time to review our service. I am sorry if we did not exceed your expectations. Unfortunately with mobile homes, they are very delicate/fragile and things do sometimes happen. In reference to the Angies list 10% senior discount, that was something we added when attempting to get our "storefront" up and running but never finished it. Our previous account rep from Angie's list was somewhat unresponsive in helping getting things rolling. As a result we had a half completed campaign for a long time. If I was to grade Angie's list I would give them a C- right now."

Once Don got there he took a look at the hand rail that had termite activity and gave me a quick breakdown on everything termites and other wood destroying organisms (fungi, beetles, etc). Don explained that the termites in the rail were Dry Wood termites and it looks like they are only in this specific area of the property. He recommends that I have someone come and replace that piece of wood and to seal it with paint to prevent future termite issues.
One lesson I learned is that some termites can fly and they won't go through paint! Don recommends sealing all unsealed wood with paint and caulk up areas that are unsealed/cracked.
Thanks Don and Mary for your help - I will definitely recommend you to others!

Fumigated a large home in Saratoga. Also saved me a lot of money because when they came out to do just a competitive bid, they found a huge amount of dry rot on two story deck and I was able to get the Seller to repair at a cost of over $20K, They saved me big time.

Excellent. Everything done professionally and on time. Recommended not doing a fungus treatment suggested by another company that did an initial inspection because it was a water stain rather than fungus. Saved me money. Mary is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Extremely responsive, very polite, very attentive to detail. All my questions were answered, all requests accounted for. Thanks!

Really like the owner and the receptionist. The inspector is a great guy. We did not completely understand what we were buying. The inspection did not cover all we wanted to know and the parts it did cover were not necessarily what we were really trying to find out. All in all, before proceeding with these really nice people find out Exactly what you are buying. We ended out using a different company to tent our house.
Response from PRIME EXTERMINATORS

"I would like to start by saying what the customer ordered was a "wood destroying organism" inspection. That is what we do. Any company licensed by the State of California is required to send to the State (within ten days) a notice that an inspection was made on that property. Failure to do so is a penalty of $2500.00. We (the company) are required to pay a fee each time we send that notification. If any problem arises regarding inspection, treatment, or workmanship ,the customer can file a complaint with the State. The State needs to be aware of any other inspections that may have been done on the property so a proper investigation can be performed. The State does not actually have the termite report unless they request it from our office. Also, any other person can order a copy of the report from the State. They would just have to request it through the Structural Pest Control Board, and we would get a request to send it. We are required to hold any report for three years. A consumer can go the Structural Pest Control Board website and view the dates of any inspections performed on that property (pestboard.ca.gov) We have nothing to do regarding the sale of the property or disclosure. It would be up to the seller to disclose any inspections, repairs etc. to any buyer, if they chose to hide that fact, it would be on them. We just do our job. As far as the fee, it is explained while scheduling the inspection, what the fee for that inspection will be. Payment is not required prior to the inspection. The inspector usually collects the check or the customer can call in a credit card to the office. In this the fee was $180.00, not three hundred as stated in the report, and the inspection fee was going to be waived if we did any work. Our inspection covers any wood destroying organism (termites, beetles, fungus) and items deemed likely to lead to future infestation or infection. If this customer needed something inspected that was out of the scope of our licensing, we would have suggested the appropriate trades (ie. general home inspector, roof inspector, chimney inspector, pool inspector, you get the what I'm saying). Prime exterminators prides itself on performing thorough and honest inspections at a reasonable rate. I regret this customer did not feel she got what she wanted, but she got what she ordered and she got an excellent inspection. This customer had never let us know what she has posted nor made a complaint, so I feel the rating we were given is unfair, by an uninformed consumer. I guess even if you do your job correctly, you cannot please all the customers all the time, although we try too."

The seller had gotten a pest report from Prime Exterminators before they put the house on the market. I got my own inspection done by another company, which showed similar findings but had a much higher estimate. I called Prime, and Patrick walked me through the estimate, explained what it made sense to have done now, what to wait and do inconjunction with another repair. (For instance, dry rot and termite damage to window frames, we could wait and have a window company do when we have the single-pane windows replaced within the next few years.) I also got thorough explanations of the chemicals involved, the process, everything. When I had to reschedule because our closing was delayed, it was no big deal. I was concerned about some of the instructions for prepping the house, and the fumigation sub-contractor sent a technician out to answer my questions. There was a hiccup / delay when PG&E failed to show up to shut off the gas before the fumigation, but I'm pretty sure that was more of a PG&E problem than with the company. Everything else went just fine.
