Title Companies
Old Republic Title Company did some amount of the closing transactions without me having to be present and I could just do them over the phone; that was nice. What I didn't like about them was that they actually told something wrong to my bank which that caused a funding panic on the day my house to be closed. Which was really kind of irritating. When they were asked if it was already funded, they said yes when in fact it was not funded, so the bank assumed they didn't need to do anything regarding the numbers and stuff and then later I got an email proving they told the bank incorrectly. They came back and said that it was their mistake and they tried to gloss over everything. It worked and it was recovered and when I had to do other things, it was reasonable. Just because they got it done, it is okay but not everyone would be happy with it. Their responsiveness was mostly good.
