We had already obtained shelving hardware from another company, but were dissatisfied with the shelf material options. That's were Jay Silva of Mountain Valley Cabinets came in. He custom made 5 bookshelves from cherry plywood, which included a nice edge trim and clear finish. He also delivered the shelves to our home. (We did the installation ourselves.) Jay warned us that some of the wood had sun markings, but could be easily hidden. I'm glad to have worked with him, because of his honesty, excellent responsiveness and access to good wood materials. Compared to other cabinet makers and woodworking carpenters, his prices were a lot more reasonable!
