 + -1 moreI went back to return the software (as they said I could), but since it was over 14 days, they would not exchange or give me a refund. The Mac Pro owner and an employee were very unprofessional, by telling me: ''The Apple Store ''kids'' and AppleCare people don't know what they're talking about, they're ''idiots'', they're just saying that I can't use Model specific restore disks because I didn't buy it from them, etc.'' Very unprofessional. I'm upset with Mac Pro because of the inconvenience they caused due to their lack of knowlege. I would not trust them to fix my computer or any recommendations they would make.
Description of Work: I wanted to purchase OS 10.3 Operating System Software for my Mac (a G4 Dual Processor). Apple no longer sold it, since the new Operating System came out (OS 10.4). So I went to Mac Pro to buy OS 10.3. Rather than selling me the legal OS 10.3 Software, they advised me to buy and install eMac Restore Software (which is eMac Model Specific), since they didn't have the full OS software nor did they have G4 Restore Software. I had concerns and reservations, but they assured me that it would be okay. The owner said, that if I had a problem with this softwware, I could return it. I trusted their advise, since I thought they were Mac Pros. After installing this software, I began to have minor problems, which over time turned into major problems and then my computer eventually died. It would not boot up at all. The Apple Store looked at it and found that my hard drive was OK and the problem was the wrong OS installed (per Mac Pro's advise). It now works with the right OS software.
