He and his brother are like family now. It went great. They are very honest and they do good work. I have told friends they can trust him and his employees and that they are honest. He listens to you.
Description of Work: He added another granit counter to our patio and replaced some rocks in the front of the house.

Kevin discussed with me two pretty different plans for adding space to my house and recommended a designer for my addition - ADG - that I decided to use and I will probably have Keven do the job once it is approved for construction. Several other builders and designed I found on Angie's list also came to the house. I liked Kevin and ADG best because they seem to be more confident about the work and less worried about impressing one with flashy portfolios. This is obviously a question of values and since I have been a builder I am not as worried about getting every detail down on paper as others might be. In fact, Kevin's willingness to tailor his estimate to allow me to do part of the work has been one of the attractions of his company.
Description of Work: Kevin has come twice to my house to examine a proposal for an addition.

Description of Work: I want to apologize to company for the not following through on our end to assure that we met with the company on the scheduled day. I have updated my review to show that the company has done what they needed to resolve the mistake we made in over booking.

Our Company received an email and a phone call from this Client on 3/10/2011. I returned her call the same day and made an appointment with her (and her Agent) to meet at the property she is interested in purchasing. We set the appointment for the next day, 3/11/2011 at 3p.m. I arrived at the property at 2:45p.m. and waited until after 3:30 p.m. No one showed up. I called the Client and her Agent and got no response so I left voice mails stating that I was at the property waiting. Her Agent finally called back and stated that 1)The homeowner did not want to pay for any work so he and his Client would have to rethink how they would pay for the work to be done and would call me next week. 2) The Agent stated that the Client did not have my phone number so was unable to call me with an update despite the fact that she had my phone number when she initially contacted my company and our contact info is on our website. I attempted to call her up until 6p.m. that evening with no response. I responded to her initial call, made an appointment right away to accommodate her, and showed up at the property, however, did not get the same consideration in return. My Company works diligently to accommodate our clients and provide excellent service. It is unfortunate that this Client did not appreciate my efforts, but we will continue to strive for 100% customer satisfaction.

Kevin has done work for us several times and we were very happy with him. I am not sure if he is doing a lot anymore. He is great. They do a lot of work. They are extremely honest and very reliable. We felt totally comfortable from the first day itself. Kevin has people that he knows working for him and has good subcontractors. His brother works with him and he does some of the work himself when he has time. He got involved with other things and wasn’t quite involved with the construction business when he did the last job for us. His prices are good. The quality of his work is very good. I would use his services in the future too if he is still doing the work.
Description of Work: Kevin Roulin Construction Inc did a major remodel inside our house in 2007. He built a fence and we have an out building that he totally re-sided as well as painted everything outside. Our last interaction with him was before Christmas.

This contractor came by, looked at the project, picked up the architectural plans, and said that he would provide a bid. Never heard back from him after calling and emailing him 4-5 times. Had requested him to at least return my architectural plans and he never responded.
Description of Work: Requested a bid on my remodel project. Approximately a $115,000 job.

Despite my efforts, communication with this gentlemen was minimal as I was unable to make contact with him most of the time. During one of our few conversations, he indicated that he had a set budget of which was much lower than what the project would cost. He asked to have the plans returned. I called him on several occassions to make arrangements to return the plans that were given to me. He never returned my calls so I hand delivered the plans to his home. No one was home so I left the package on his doorstep. I never heard from him again. We hope that his project worked out well for him within his budget.
