They charged $30 minimum when I left the camera and an estimate of $180 maximum unless they called to give me the bad news. They said it would take up to 2 weeks. They were very professional in removing all the lenses and memory cards before accepting the camera. I called 2 days later to get the status and they said they were just completing it and it would be ready by the time I got there. The camera was fixed and the charge was a total of $120. The cause of the problem was a sticky substance inside the camera, which they felt was spilt soda pop or something similar. The flash mechanical movement and switches were all covered with the stuff. While there, I also bought a used $120 camera bag to better protect my camera. They charged $35 for the bag. Very professional.
