Junk King San Jose

My godson left a fully-disasembled Tuff Shed in my back yard. Doors, windows, headers, plywood, and lots of lumber--some of it 15' in length. Ugh! I spoke with a gentleman at Junk King (San Jose) who simply said "Can do." We set an appointment at a time in the following week that worked for me and he gave me a 2-hour window. I received a confirmation email almost instantly. And on the appointed day, during the designated window, I received a call from Darnell to say he was on his way. He and Jesse arrived on-time and went straight to work. There was so much "stuff" it took 2 loads and a Skilsaw. But these two hard-workers powered through. They were pleasant but it was obvious that they were here to work and had little time for small-talk. I appreciated that! Yes it went well, Yes I'd do it again...but I really hope I don't have to do it again. Ever!

The crew was punctual, friendly, very helpful and courteous. I will definitely hire them again when needed (which is coming up soon).

The work they did was very good and the guys who came were very nice to work with, but the scheduling system was frustrating and communication was not clear - we had to reschedule a couple of times to get the work done that we needed. They also seemed pretty expensive.

Both times the 2 guys called me before coming, were friendly, had no issues moving furniture from awkward locations and were in and out. It was easy booking online.

The whole experience was perfect. They do excellent work, extremely efficient and prompt. Even swept after to ensure everything looked clean and put together.

They were awesome, did more than I expected them to. Friendliest guys.

Very well. I was told they will negotiate price which is estimated on site before they load their truck, I thought too high so I was able to get 10% off. Considering I don't usuaally negotiate, price was OK for me. I need to do that more.

Everything went great. This is the second time we have used them. They are very courteous and they do a great job. We will have them again.

They were able to schedule a pickup two days after contact, came when they said they would, and did what they said they would do. Needed to add a unit (done on-site in about 30 seconds by talking to the crew leader) to the one paid for with the Angie's list "deal"--and the second unit was significantly less than the deal. (You would expect a better price for the second unit, because the truck was already there, but the price was very fair.)
They called ahead of time (to confirm and because, as noted when I scheduled the job, there could be short delay to empty the truck first, as there was). The arrived when they said they would in the confirming call, with crew of 3 men.

The men were professional, and did their jobs cheerfully and reasonably quickly, including cleaning up a pile of building material behind the garage that included some shoveling up of spilled gypsum. I did cut the windsurfer in half for them at their request, --and would suggest that items 8 feet or smaller are easier for them to deal with.

I can recommend them highly for junk removal, and will likely use them again. Wish I had done this a long time ago.
