JMB Plumbing and Construction installed a soft water system in my home. They know exactly where to run hard water lines as well as the soft water lines. Extremely knowledgeable. The quality of the work was excellent, and they even worked late to complete the work. I would highly recommend this company for there workmanship, They are a great value for what you pay and the service that I received. Great Company.

The work was done well. When I came down to the garage to check on how it was going, the guy they had subing was just not working. I was not unhappy with the work I was just unhappy with the amount they charged me and I was missing some tools.

Extremely professional and always on time. Very neat. Workmanship that was done was perfectly executed. Very easy to work with and patient with all the decision making that needed to be done. They like to start project when all materials are in.. This worked very well as there was no down time while waiting for material. You often wonder if a contractor is worth the money put out. In this case it was worth every penny.

They guy's very accommodating, and takes care of everything you need. I find him very convenient.

JMB plumbing did exceptional work and really tailored their work to our desires.  We had selected some very high end items (including a ToTo electronic toilet), but to them there as no challenge too big! The remodeled 3 bathrooms and the hallway and kitchen, beginning in December and finishing up in February/March. The cost of their service was over $100,000 but it was very custom work. They did excellent work at a fair price.

I have an older (1942) 2Bd / 1Ba house that I bought about 3 years ago.  I knew it needed a copper repipe at some point in the future.  I finally got around to doing it.  Initially the quote from JMB was not the lowest, but they had such amazing reviews online that I gave him the chance to re-bid it and then decided to go with them.  It was my first time working with them.
John was the one who came over to do the bid.  He was extremely friendly, called me beforehand to give me a good idea of when he would show up, and was able to assess the work quickly and accurately.  He is also a contractor and not just a plumber, so if you need to combine some remodel work with plumbing work, then they can do it all.
A three person work crew did the actual job, and they were also on time, friendly, and did the work quickly. They asked me questions when I had a couple choices to make and did a very good job of keeping the rest of my house clean while the project was on going.  They were able to quickly schedule me in between the Christmas and New Years holidays, which worked well for me, since I had time off from work.
Afterwards, everything has been working great and I haven't noticed any problems.  I would definitely use them again for work in the future.

The job went relatively smooth and job was done in a reason able time frame.

He came over to check it out and see if he could help me and was to set up a return date ... but when he saw my problems he stayed and got the job done for me.

It was fine. They did what they said they were going to do. They were clean and everything worked out fine.

This has been a great experience. John Barrera responded quickly to my initial plea for help, came to the house and sized up the various problems. He then explained what needed to be done to fix each, and when there was more than one option to solve a problem he presented me with all the options and let me choose the solution. John is friendly, patient and easy to talk with. The members of his crew are all excellent plumbers. John trained them himself and they have worked for his company for a minimum of 10 years. Their drywall patching skills are awesome. John tells you the day and time he and his crew will start work and they are punctual, showing up when at the time they say they will. I trusted the crew members enough to give John a key to my house since I am up half the night and sleep during the daytime. They put down tarps to collect any dirt they track into the house and clean up after themselves at the end of the day. It didn't take long for me to realize that though John started out his career as a plumber he is now a general contractor. When he learned that I had several serious electrical problems in the house and garage, he contacted "his" electrician to take a look, and most of the problems are now fixed. The electrician will bill me separately. When the crew showed me the part of the sewer line they had cut out and replaced, it was visibly obvious that the house's 45 year-old galvanized steel sewer lines are so corroded and clogged with debris that they need to be replaced, so John and his crew will begin that job soon. When the time comes to remove some wallpaper and repaint portions of the house, John will guide that project. As soon as I can afford it John will arrange for hardwood floors to be installed, and long range, when I remodel the kitchen and utility porch, John will be in charge of that as well. To sum up, I needed a plumber and in getting the plumber I also got a team of individuals who can handle complete remodels. Such a deal! Thanks John :o)C. Withers

They are excellent. We have been using them from probably two or three years. The price was good and the quality of their work was excellent. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were great. We would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

When I discovered that our 35 year old galvanized water pipes were corroding though I solicited bids from 4 contractors. All the contractors responded quickly but JMB provided more details about the job and indicated a willingness to accomodate some changes to the existing system as part of their scope. Pricing between contractors varied by almost 50% from lowest to highest for a common set of requirements. JMB and another contractor were similarly priced but I was impressed by their attitude in seeking the job. When we agreed on the schedule for performing the work the crew showed up on time and worked diligently to complete it. Our house has two stories so it was necessary for them to locate through the dry wall the penetrations for the upstairs replacements. They did this with a minimum number of temporary openings. After the city inspector signed off on the rough inspection the crew closed up these opening and textured to match the surrounding area. The inspector commented that the work looked good and I concur. Very professional and of high quality. They went about the work smoothly and minimized the impact on the family while it was going on. Any loss of water was limited to short times and usually to only a small section of the house while the work proceeded. They even removed the accessible portions of the old galvanived pipe as part of their work.
I'm very pleased with the work performed and the manner in which it was done. I'd recommend JMB and will definitely consider them for any future work we may need done. The crew worked well together and everyday made sure that their work areas were restored and clean.

I was expecting problems and there wasn’t one problem. It went great! They assured me in the beginning that any problems that came up they would know how to take care of, and they did. I will use them again for future construction. I already have them lined up to do my bathroom floor.

Don't let the name plumbing stop you from using this company for almost any project. John was responsive from start to finish on this very big job. He is so well established in the community that he has connections with sub-contractors that he's used in the past and trusts to get the job done right. His team of guys were punctual, polite and incredibly hard workers. John has an eye for quality and doesn't cut corners. Easy to work with and genuine in his business. His price if fair - not cheap but fair. Followup was always prompt and satisfaction guaranteed. We liked his crew so much that we hired them again to do additional work on our home and at the office.

Complete job in time promised; 4 days with a professional manner.
