JIM WOLK CONSTRUCTION

Jim and crew did a great job on our bathroom remodel, the result was high quality and we're very satisfied. Jim was easy to communicate with about what we wanted and was quick to point out issues in our plans and correct them. He and his crew worked hard, work was completed on schedule. Jim is very detail oriented and took care with the little details. I will definitely use him for any future projects.

Jim Wolk Construction--not on Angie's List--uh, oh.  Our standard procedure is to scour Angie's list in a category and select what we see as the three best to ask for estimates.  This time we took two from the List and Jim Wolk from a vendor recommendation.  As a result of our interaction with the three, we chose Jim based upon his proposal and our perception of the person, the latter being the more important.  A big factor is that although he is a general contractor, his background is in tile.

What superlatives can we use after seeing the finished work that Jim did for us?  None.  Because that would not be Jim.  So if we went "gaga" in this review, it would sound false.  With Jim, what you see is what you get.  He will tell you without hesitation what he thinks would work and look best when asked, without any pressure for you to change to his way of thinking.  He guides you to making the best choices.  As a result, our bathroom is really beautiful, with everything done even better than we had planned originally.

He and his helper, Leo, are very meticulous in everything that they do.  Measure, measure, cut finish.  And at the end of each day, they did a thorough cleanup.  As an added note, the sub contractors that he uses are also excellent.

The job went well. It took Jim and his assistant 3 days to prep, install, and grout our tile. He worked hard and delivered a quality product. We love our new kitchen and dining room floor!
