I would recommend Jerry Wood highly. He was upfront. The actual charge came in below the estimate. His guys were nice. They were clean and they were quick. I would definitely call him again. I’ve never used any other movers besides BestGuy Moving and Jerry Wood Moving.

The packing and moving days went great. The guys were punctual, focused, flexible, and helpful. My only quibble would be that the company could use a receptionist to return calls and respond to emails. Be prepared to not have any kind of contract prior to your moving day. But they are very trustworthy. I'd use them again.

They were great. They did a wonderful job and were very professional. They were on time, moved quickly and I'm glad I found them.

This is the second time I've used Jerry Wood Moving-- Todd and his crew are amazing. This time I needed them to pick up two Italian sofas in Berkeley and deliver to me in Los Gatos. Todd was right on time, handled the sofas and frames with the utmost care, worked tenaciously assembling the sofas and then even arranged them in the room for me...(above and beyond the call of duty). I was thrilled with the job!!
During this process I mentioned to Todd that I needed a 10-foot piece of glass moved from my storage unit to my house. He promptly took the key for my storage unit and moved the glass for me right then. I needed to clear some space in the room the glass was being installed, and since it was getting late and the crew had just returned from a long distance out-of-state job, Todd said they'd be back on Wednesday (three days) to install the glass--And they did just that!!
As promised, that Wednesday, while I was at work, Todd and his guys used the key I left for them, came in and installed the glass perfectly. And get this--no charge!! These guys are a dream come true!!! I am a raving fan!!

The move could not have gone better. The team was courteous and respectful, including me in their decisions as to where to put boxes and furniture without any impatience. For no extra charge, Todd Wood brought an extra van because some of my plants were too tall for the first van, and he didn't want to damage the plants. I recommend this moving company without reservation.

The team was on-time, informative, handled the contents of my home carefully, wrapping and/or padding the furniture as appropriate. They loaded efficiently and transported the contents professionally. The unloading was just as smooth even though it was raining. Nothing got wet (except the guys :)), and not one item was damaged. This is a first and we have moved many times. This is my first Angie's List post ever. I'm happy to provide an A+++ rating to Jerry Wood Moving. Thanks so much.

This company is awesome--a family run operation with years of experience and expertise. The estimate in terms of movers needed, cost and time was right on. The manager arrived with his team of 5--and he worked right along with them providing guidance and participation. Prompt, polite, efficient, careful, great teamwork, flexible and pleasant attitude. A well-oiled operation. No breakage or damage. The smoothest move I have ever experienced. If we ever have to move again I will definitely use them.

They showed up with 7 people and got me out of my apartment within an hour. And were able to move me into the house within another hour. I had scheduled 3 movers but I'm glad they brought more to get the move over quickly. All of the movers were professional and polite. Todd (the owner I believe) seems to prefer communicating over email which works well for me. And he came recommended by an acquaintance.

They were very professional, on time and very helpful in making our move a success. Once they arrived at the new house in Morgan Hill, they once again protected the floors and the stairwell banisters and were very careful in moving the furniture. We were extremely pleased with the overall quality of their work.

They were great. They were very helpful and punctual. They moved everything without any problems. They moved everything from my three bedroom house and the garage.

They were a fabulous company. They were about half the price of another company I looked at. They were very professional, they came on time and made sure to be respectful. They were very flexible and responsive, I highly recommend this company.

This company made the entire move so easy. They were careful with all of my furnishings and took the time to rearrange furniture to my liking. They even assembled by beds in the new house.
