We hadn't tuned our rather new piano for years, so it was clearly out of tune.
When Jerry came in the first time, he noticed it be very much off perfect pitch that, should he tune it perfect, the piano would detune within weeks. He offered two options: Overtune now and come back a few weeks larger or tune it but such that it would be off perfect pitch. The latter would have saved us a second tuning but we decided to have him come out twice and make the piano perfect.
That said, Jerry was always on time (even during the storm), was very nice, and explained any issue clearly.
Jerry uses a scheduler, so you can make an appointment easily. We received a call the day before the appointment as a reminder.
All in all, I can only recommend Jerry's work and I am sure we will have him back before the piano gets out of tune that much again.

Punctual, professional, pleasant!

Excellent! He has an assistant to schedule appt and provide estimates on phone. He is a piano rebuilder and could quickly diagnose/repair both pianos service. Moved one piano from $0 value to $900 value. I am fussy abut pianos. I cannot say enough good things about Jerry!

He was great. He was very thorough, reliable and affordable.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment over the phone and the woman whom we spoke with told us what to expect in terms of amount of time and price. On the day of, Jerry called to tell us that he was running a few minutes late. When he arrived (only a few minutes late due to traffic), he asked me some questions about the piano and then got to work. After some diagnostic tests, he told me that he would have to tune the piano twice - once fairly roughly, and then again to fine tune it - and that it would take a couple hours. That is exactly what happened. When he was finished, he played a tune on the piano, talked to me about next steps, and then wrote out a receipt. Overall, he was very easy and pleasant to work with.

He arrived on time and worked steadily for almost three hours. The final cost was exactly the estimate quoted over the phone. This gentleman knows piano tuning inside and out and it shows. We were happy to pay for quality work and will get him back next year, no more waiting for 20 years!

Jerry arrived on-time, and worked for approximately 2 hours to bring the piano back into tune (it was far enough out of tune that it required an additional pass to effectively bring it back into tune). We had just purchased the piano used, and it was in need of tuning. Very happy with the results, and without doubt we will be using Jerry for future tuning work. Excellent work, very experienced, and very personable.

Excellent work. Piano sounds crisp and clear. The keys no longer stick. He even did some on site touch ups with keys that were lagging slightly, and sanded the hammer faces, etc. Jerry has been tuning pianos since the 1960's and has worked on pianos at clubs, hotels, nd businesses (including Hewlett-Packard's pianos for over 20 years) as well as residences. Very personable, very punctual, just a really ice guy. Jerry does repairs and rebuilding as well, but we've only used his tuning services.
