My wife and I were introduced to Jack Jennings by our neighbor who had hired Jack for several projects at his house. My wife and I bought a foreclosed house in early June 2012 that we gutted and we hired Jack in early July 2012 to help us put it back together. Jack was great to work with and was really patient with us as this was our first home remodel. He provided a contract listing everything he would do and itemized it. We lived in an RV while Jack and his crew/sub-contractors got all the heavy lifting done. We had our bumps in the road but nothing major. My only issue during the whole project involved a roofing sub-contractor whose price was higher than another roofing company, but it all worked out. The project went smoothly and the only delays we had were plumbing fixture related. We learned that it's good to place your orders sooner than later. Lessons learned so far: Don't be afraid to ask, if you don't, the answer is always NO Find out who the sub-contractors are and research them Take pictures and notes, it will help you remember what happened when and by who, otherwise, you will forget Everything costs more than you think it will, especially if you watch a lot of DIY shows ,
