JAMES PAINTING

I dealt with him totally on e-mail and in person, I have all his information but it's not on me but he's an independent contractor and he does commercial painting and he does residential painting and he does a beautiful residential painting work. He's very personable, very professional, extremely trustworthy, perfectionist, beautiful finishes, he takes his time and he does a great job. The work that he does is beautiful, he's very detailed, very perfect. Especially when I noticed like 'cause I know women have an issue you know when contractors they would have access on the house, so trustworthy and a great guy. At the first time, I was choking, I haven't realized how much painting costs because I've been painting myself but when watching him do the work, he was the hardest working, he spent the most time in that house than anybody and it's a very labor, time-consuming job to do well and this is a 50 or something year old house and it's an original kitchen that he sanded down and I thought at the end of the day, he was a bargain.

The work was done about 7 years ago. Their prices were cheap at the time, but the contractor contracted the work out. The workers that he hired were fine, but the contractor himself was unresponsive, late, and would not return my calls after the work was done. It also seemed like there wasn't good communication between he and the workers and before the wall was removed, he didn't check to see if was a load bearing wall and, the roof buckled as a result. The contractor said he would re-pay me for the damage and that he would meet with me about it, but he never did and he stop returning my calls. I would never use him again.
