I investigated several local repair options after Samsung told me they wanted me to *mail* the TV to them for out of warranty service. iTritek offered free pick up and no diagnostic fee, which was pretty unusual. They came to my house and picked up the TV at a time convenient for me (a Friday night). They told me it should be ready in about two weeks. When two weeks had passed, I called them and they said the repair was taking longer than expected because their supplier had shipped them the wrong part. It took a few more weeks (and a phone call or two from me) until they called me to arrange a delivery time. They delivered it for free to my home and helped me set it up and test it. It's as good as new now, and the repair cost just as much as they estimated. I did some research on parts on line and believe that they charged a very fair price.
