We worked with Manuel and his Green & Rock team on a complete re-do of our front yard. They did demolition and excavation of the whole yard (including existing driveway, walkway, lawn and plants). They then installed pavers on the driveway and walkway area; installed a new lawn sprinkler system and drip system for the new drought-tolerant plants; prepped the soil and planted the plants and sod; installed stepping stone walkway and stone-and -gravel sitting area; laid bark and cobblestone ground covers--all per our landscape design. Green & Rock employees were very respectful, and our neighbors were impressed with how quickly they completed our project, while keeping the whole area safe and clean daily. Manuel and his leads were all very responsive. The work quality was all excellent. We would use Green & Rock again! We highly recommend them.

Manuel understood what we wanted in our backyard lawn conversion to hard scrape with low maintenance, drought tolerant plants. Workers were dependable and skilled. Good outcome.

We live in San Carlos and recently completed a landscaping project with Manuel Salazar of Green and Rock landscaping. He's really great to work with: super knowledgeable, great taste in materials, good hardscape design, friendly and organized crew (they left the job site spotless every day). He's also a stickler for details and wants you to be 100% satisfied. We've hired him twice now. Both times he installed retaining walls, pavers, irrigation and lighting. His team also did the planting for us.

After we agreed on the price at the end he raised the price price by $200 I definitely would not recommend him to anybody

San Jose Green and Rock Landscape has just landscaped our front yard. Using a professional design they have taken us from water thirsty to deer resistant, drought tolerant, bee and butterfly friendly. Manuel was easy to work with and communicated frequently. Rudolpho, who did the work, was here every day for three weeks. He asked opinions, offered opinions, and left the site clean (except for the requisite dirt piles) each day - no cans or liter in the yard. All very pleasant people to work with.

The team provides complete landscape installation including grading, pavers, irrigation, decking, concrete, artificial turf, plantings, lighting, stone steps, hillside landscaping and masonry. We have a very large backyard and Manuel designed our project into several phases. We were so pleased with phase 1 that we did phase 2 sooner than expected. We are so happy that we did! Our backyard is amazing! Will definitely continue to work with Green and Rock in the future to complete the final phase of our project (outdoor kitchen, fireplace and pergola). The team is hard working, on time, friendly, professional and keep a very organized and clean job site. I can not say enough wonderful things about the work that was done and how much we appreciate the Green and Rock team!
