Attic access was on the far end of the house, but Chris had no problem walking along the framework to bring in the wiring and make the connection to the roof vent. He provided the fan which is a top-rated Panasonic type, very affordable, efficient, and quiet. He installed everything perfectly, with fan and new double-switch plate exactly aligned. Total price out-the-door was $400 for something I could never do myself (too old for tripping around the attic, especially in tight places). A couple of years ago, Chris also did some other work fixing an open circuit us which was also very affordable. I couldn't believe how fast he found it and added a junction box to fix the open connection. He is everything you could ask for: experienced, punctual, reasonable, efficient. Need I say more?

I had a light fixture installed by Chris. He completed the job in about an hour and it was done perfectly. He was professional and worked efficiently. He is the electrician you need for any job! You will not be disappointed. The wait time may be a bit long because he has a long list of devoted clients that constantly refer him to their friends.

Chris has done more extensive work for me in the past, including replacing the boxed in long fluorescent lights with recessed lighting, also motion lights around the entire outside. installation of multiple ceiling fans, installing overhead lights in areas where lights needed so, anytime I need electrical work done, I automatically think of him.
Always professional, cleans up after any\all work done. Has great suggestions when I'm not exactly sure how I want improvements done.
I highly recommend Chris Gray.

Chris showed up on time and ready to work. He had already surveyed the site so he got right to work. He was efficient and completed the work ahead of schedule. He also let me know there was not as much work as he had quoted and that the entire job was less than originally quoted.

Chris was excellent to work with, he did what he said, when he said he would do it. He did not come in low and try to up charge, his quote was his quote. He did quality work and the patch work was beyond my expectation. He is a gentleman and is very professional. We met with quite a few contractors and ran the gamut from rude, surely, untimely (for a quote) and unprofessional. Chris was none of those things.

Gray did a good job. We hired him twice for electrical work.
He installed the recessed LED light with dimmer switch in our living room, Focus LED light for fireplace with dimmer switch. We discussed with him about type, size and color of light fixtures to install. He bought all the light fixtures and switches. We bought only the TV wall mount stand. Before installing the lights, Gray and my husband both spend some time to decide and mark place where to install the lights and wall mount the TV. His work is very neat and clean. Thank you

Chris is on-time, extremely professional and has all the know-how. Open circuits can be tricky to find even with current tracers and he was able to track it down to a bad connection from the hallway lights in about 2 hours. He is very busy due to high-demand for his services, so be patient if he doesn't call you right back immediately. Once he puts you on the schedule, rest assured he will be there and fix the problem. 100% satisfied, and very happy I called the right man for the job. Thanks Angie for your referrel.

Chris was great. Very professional and very knowledgeable about his profession. He was so easy to talk to and I felt very good that he fixed what was needed, had the supplies on him and works very efficiently. The price he charged was fair and right in line with what I would have expected if nothing else was wrong with the plug. I will definitely call him again and as long as he is in business he is our "new go to electrician". Always nice to find a professional you can use repeatedly with confident.

I hired Gray electric to replace my old and failing 100 amp electrical panel with a new 200 amp service and panel. Chris's bid included everything needed including patching the stucco work. He worked with the city and PG&E to ensure all of the paper work was in order and to schedule work with PG&E and the inspection with the city. He answered all of my questions and provided me with valuable advice moving forward. He also include a whole house surge protector. He was very flexible with scheduling and he even considered and prepared for future expansion. He also cleaned up some previous work that was done prior to me moving in. I would give 10 stars if I could! Of all of the contractors and service providers that I have worked with, I like Chris the best. I will definitely use him in the future!

I'd used Chris several years for another project, this time I thought there was a problem with a kitchen GFI and under counter light. Chris replaced the GFI, finding the old one to be defective, the light I had originally thought to need a light bulb; this hadn't worked so it was decided to replace the whole unit. The ballast had gone out on the light and the new one is working just fine! Yeh!

Our recently purchased home had a dangerous Federal Pacific sub-panel and for my family's safety I wanted to get it replaced as soon as possible. Chris' estimate was based on time and materials, not a 'special promotion package' so it was less expensive by far than the competitors. He arrived on time and finished quickly. I was an electrician, so I can say that the workmanship was excellent. I will definitely hire him again.

They did very well. I called him, and he was busy, but was able to give me an approximate date. He called me a few days before, and always kept me posted as to his schedule, and always returned my calls. He came at the appointed time, and worked hard all day long. He didn't cut any corners, and did a first rate job.

Chris Gray was the one who performed the services. One of our circuits to ourdoor lighting (entry & garage) malfunctioned; switches acted erratically. Chris localized the problem after a little while. The junction box holding 3 switches & a dimmer was very crowded & seemed to be miswired; had a loose connection as well. After sorting all this out, it seemed that the circuitry in the box was controlled by 2 breakers & contained 4 circuits going to outdoor lights as well as several rooms in the house. Chris rewired all this. He apperntly missed one circuit going to a back room & had to come back to fix this. He did so within 20 minutes & did not charge for the extra time. All told he was here about 2 hrs & charged $120 for a Saturday. He cleaned up after him as well. All in all a good experience.

Chris did the work himself. He was punctual, polite, and professional. His work was clean and looked beautiful. He worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. He was willing to work with us on scheduling which was very helpful. I'm not an inspector but I think he provided quality work and everything is working great. We will definitely call him for future work.
