Bill and his crew were very professional and considerate. Bill was very flexible about timing. Uriel, the foreman, was very hard working and efficient. He and Bill answered all my questions very patiently and gave good advice about the layout of my project. The work was done well and clean up was good. I would hire Bill and his crew again.

Bill, has a nice work crew. Hugo his crew chief is wonderful. He went back to the service yard to retrieve chain saw they forgot. They don't usually do maintanence contracts; however, my father-in-law, lives near their shop. So we came to an agreement for service maintanence, twice a month. It was perfect for my 86 year old father-in-law.

They were very prompt and courteous. All work crews were quite good, left the work area clean and were very nice. I had time constraints for thee job and they satisfied my every request. Will use them again for a future project.

While the quality of work seems good, there was a lapse in communication between Bill and his crew, causing unforeseen added expenses during the final walk through. I stated to Bill, a simple call could have avoided any final billing surprises. I will use Bill again and have him quoting another small project. To summarize, the quality of work was very good. The value is unknown as I am not an expert in installing a fence or planting a tree. The major issue was a lack of updated communication.

Overall I am very satisfied with the work that was done to my patio. Bill was great and listened to me and was always available to me should I have a question or problem. Bill, the owner of General Landscaping Service, was the only landscaper who suggested concrete pavers for my project. The men that worked our project were polite, friendly and really knew what they were doing. It was fun to watch them and ask questions along the way. Their English was not very good, but we were able to communicate very well. When I asked Bill where to get more pavers in case some got broken, he replied that for the next 50 years that if we had any problems with any of their work we should just call him and he will fix the problem. I would recommend General Landscaping Service to anyone.

Quality job, lots of complements and we love our new courtyard. Bill walked us through every step of the process, helping us select materials, design options and finishing details. Workers were polite and very hard working. We look forward to working with Bill again.

Bill put one of his workers in charge or my project. When I had problems with this person I left several messages for Bill and he stopped returning my calls. In the end I had a step tiled with slate by a worker who admitted he never tiled before. The tile is both cut and laid crooked. This person often came to my house to work after dark and his work shows lack of light. I paid extra for landscape cloth to be laid to prevent weeds. They planted before laying the cloth and then laid strips of cloth in between the plants. It's no surprise that weeds are coming up between the strips. I wondered if these guys had done landscaping work before.

"This instance occured when Bill-the owner was out of town for the weekend. We had promoted a young worker to the position of forman. Unfortunatly it was to much responsibility too soon. On the following Monday Bill came out to correct the 2 errors to her satisfaction and terminated that employee for negligence. She was satisfied with the finish product however did not retract this review."

No drawings/renderings provided as requested. Communication very poor, not responsive. Quality of work to price paid was not acceptable, i.e. the design of the landscaping was very basic. Some aspects of job had to be repeated due to poor execution.

"This project was originally budgeted for complete tear out and remodel. Homeowner then cut back the project to replacing lawn edging, cleaning and staining deck, adjusting sprinklers and planting flowers. 1/15 of original project. The scope of work included no design change & did not require drawings unlike a remodel. The color of stain was not to their liking so we re-coated at no charge."
