This was a positive experience.  I got two quotes for our painting/finishing work on custom cherrywood cabinets.  Freeman Finishing gave me a clear and detailed quote based on the size of the cabinets (linear foot) and type of stain, glaze, and paint chosen.  I perfer this type of quote as compared to a general unitemized type of quote.  My husband and I were comfortable choosing Freeman's since we knew from the start the process and costs for all the work. 
I first met with Mark and Erick in their office to discuss the work.  Erick printed out an itemized quote for me.  Mark showed me wood samples of previous work Freeman's had completed.  These samples were clearely catalogued, and filed.   I checked out a variety of cherrywood samples stained in colors, glaze types and sheens that we might like.    At home, my husband and I were able to see how the light, wall color and furnishings worked with each sample.  This was very helpful.
I returned, met with Todd.  We worked together to finalize the stain color, glaze and sheen type.  
Our final  project was the Bedroom cabinets and desk.  For this work,  I made an appointment to meet with Todd first.  He asked me to bring with me paint samples of the room where the cabinets and desk would be installed.  Todd helped me choose the paint color that would best work with my samples.  He had paint samples from a variety of paint companies.  It took time and patience on his part and for this I am grateful.  We are happy with color and finish.
The work was well done.  The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.  My calls were always returned promply.
