The bid was between 2,00- 3,000 dollars less then two other companies that bid, for the exact same process. Mr. Scott Johnson, the company owner was fully insured with a contractor's licence #687145 that was current and in good standing. His bid was very detailed and there were no surprises.
Mr. Johnson obtained the necessary permits and arranged for an electrician to perform all the necessary tasks.
Mr. Johnson did an excellent job on our pool removal project. He was always on time, worked a full day, and cleaned up the job site daily. He hauled all debris, including a slide, and concrete decking away, Unlike many other companies, he did not place any broken concrete, rocks or pool debris at the bottom of our pool.
All the dirt for the in-fill was bought from a broker and was clean. He compacted the dirt with the bobcat so we will not have sink-age later.
Mr. Johnson even took photos of each stage of the pool removal process and gave us copies of the photos on a CD. This will be of tremendous help when we sell our home in a few years.
The inspector for the city of San Jose, signed off the permit today and complemented Mr. Johnson on an outstanding job.
